"It's that girl again."

"She's always clinging at Chen SyaoRan. She desperately wants to climb up huh."

"Her family is not even a tenth of Chen Family. Clearly, she's a gold digger."

Jiang Ai Yue kept hearing the whispers of the females at the back. Actually, more like they made it loud enough for her to hear.

She just sighed and ignored their remarks at her. It always happens everytime and she stopped bothering and wasting few minutes talking to them. Honestly though, it's still very uncomfortable to hear.

Jiang Ai Yue composed herself and left the table. She'd rather be outside than listen to more of their nonsense. Grabbing a glass of juice as she strode to the balcony, she could faintly hear their snickers at her.

The cool wind outside refreshed her mind as she sipped from the glass.

'Ai Yue,let's just think positive thoughts.' She repeated in her mind.

Thinking about her work schedule tomorrow, she wanted to call in sick. She have a morning interview at the TV station at 9 am, magazine shoot at lunch and audition at 6 pm. Jiang Ai Yue thought that she'll be probably eating all her meals in the van again. Or worse, she'll be so busy that she might skip her meals. And then she'll be scolded by Chen SyaoRan again for not eating.

"Do you wanna get sick?" Chen SyaoRan whispered at her ear. She jumped from fright and whipped her head just to see that their faces are merely two inches away from each other. Her face reddening from the sudden contact, she quickly took a step back.

"No, I was..." just going to be annoyed if I remained inside. She cut off her sentence before she could finish it. Jiang Ai Yue knew that Chen SyaoRan would be angry if he knew. Just like the time he kicked a girl to the ground when he hear her gossiping about Jiang Ai Yue.

Everyone was thoroughly traumatized after that incident that it took a year before the other females had the guts to whisper at her back again. She was thankful for SyaoRan for protecting her but she felt that the females saw her more negatively because of it instead.

"Was someone bothering you?"

Jiang Ai Yue wanted to cry. How is he always so quick to catch on? Damn it.

"No, I just need some fresh air."She lied, putting her acting skills to work. Chen SyaoRan should not bother himself at girls' arguments.

"Ah! I forgot to call back at the house to let someone tow away the car." Changing the topic, she rummaged inside her bag for her phone.

"Speaking of, didn't I tell you to stop stealing the car for driving? You don't have a license and what if you have an accident? Did you ever think about the consequences?" Jiang Ai Yue pouted at his nagging. Insteas of a 17-year-old, does he think she was a 5-year-old?

"I know I don't have the license but I just really wanna drive. You know my brothers won't allow me to take the car for a spin even around the village. So i resorted to stealing the car while they're out the house."

"They won't allow you because once you get hold of the steering wheel, you get crazy and speed away without limits! Ai Yue, listen to us and just wait when you're old enough to drive okay?" Chen SyaoRan was getting annoyed at Jiang Ai Yue's antics. He was regretting teaching her how to drive and now, it seems like she's used it for rebelling.

"But...!!"

"Listen to me or else I'll never let you drive again." He reached out to her to grip her arm but she slapped his hand away.

"NO!" Jiang Ai Yue got completely annoyed at Chen SyaoRan's words. "Stop controlling me! I will do whatever I want and I will drive!!"

At this point, Jiang Ai Yue was driven with her feelings of annoyance and anger at his words that she didn't care if what she said was already so unreasonable.

Jiang Ai Yue briskly walked past him and went inside, ignoring whatever he was saying at her. She barely heard someone calling his name as she strode across the opposite side of the room. She grabbed whatever drinks that her hand reached out and drank it empty in one shot. She reached out for a couple of times that she became so intoxicated. Another glass was placed in front of her and she drank without any second thoughts.

Stupid Chen SyaoRan! Why does he always stop me from doing what I want?! Why did he even teach me driving in the first place if he won't allow me to drive?!

At her 10th glass, she saw the surroundings getting blurry and fuzzy than it was. Her mind was in a jumble and other people's voices seem jibberish to her ears.

Are they still speaking human language? She wondered.

Resoluting herself by grabbing another glass, a guy approached her and sat beside her.

"Hello, you're the actress Jiang Ai Yue right?" The guy's voice was riddled with excitement, squeal and a bit of obsession.

At this point, Jiang Ai Yue's judgement and vision were so clouded she failed to notice the warning signs that the guy in front of her is an obssessed and pervert fan.

"I am. And who the hell are you?" She scrutinized him when the guy offered a glass of a similar drink she was previously drinking.

Her eyes lighted up and snatched it from his hands to drink. As she drank, she didn't notice the guy's perverse stare and creepy smile at her. The guy moved close enough at her that their arms are almost touching. Seeing Jiang Ai Yue defenseless, he excitingly reached out to touch her exposed white and soft skin.

Before the guy's hands could touch her, Jiang Ai Yue heard a loud crash just beside her. As she dropped the glass at the table, she groggily looked at her right and saw the guy that was speaking to her awahile ago lying on the ground holding his face and Chen SyaoRan who was blazing of anger. He glared at the guy like was ready to kill him right at this moment.

"Fuck off!!! Don't you dare mess with my woman!" Chen SyaoRan shouted at the guy as he lifted the guy up again and punched him in the face. With SyaoRan's intense power from training in the Army, the guy flew meters away from her. The guy landed like a dead guy and never stood up again.

Seeing Chen SyaoRan, Jiang Ai Yue's annoyance returned again and wanted to grab another glass when her hand was forcibly pulled and dragged away outside the hall.

Jiang Ai Yue was pushed mercilessly inside the vehicle before it drove off.

"What are you doing?! I was still drinking!" She angrily shouted at him as she tried pulling away her hand from Chen SyaoRan's hold.

"Let go of me!!"

"Jiang Ai Yue, are you seriously testing my patience?!" Chen SyaoRan was beyond angry. He was outraged.

When he was surrounded by people once again when he tried to catch up to her, he wanted to finish them off so that they would finally stop irritating him once and for all. The moment he got away from them, he grew angrier as he saw her drink and seeing the wine glasses crowding her table. His reason snapped when he saw the guy approached and ogled her. He incapacitated the arm that tried to touch her and destroyed to eyes that ogled her. He didn't even notice how he indirectly confessed his intentions to Jiang Ai Yue in public.

Holding Jiang Ai Yue's hand, he tried to compose himself again when he heard her tell him to let go of her. He almost cursed.

He stared like a predator eyeing his prey at Jiang Ai Yue.

Let go? Ha! Jiang Ai Yue, you should cease those thoughts because you'll never be able to escape from me in this lifetime. Or even the next lifetime.

You're the one who wasted away the chance to stay away from me, and I'm not letting you think that you can push me away in your life after that.

You're mine the moment we first met and stayed by my side. And you're mine for all eternity.

Such thoughts whirled around Chen SyaoRan's head as he stared at her. He chuckled. Compared to the guy who was bothering her awhile ago, Chen SyaoRan thought that the one who is clearly the most dangerous is himself.
