8 Proposal Answer

As the cold night passed with the warm sun rising, Luna was busy getting ready. She was nervous about her decision but was willing to pull through. She was going to meet up with Lorenzo to finally give him her answer.

It was currently lunch time and Lorenzo was still busy signing papers that he was not able to hear the light knock on his office door. Though as he was reading a proposal on his hand he smelt a lovely scent that was able to captivate his full attention. To his surprise Luna was standing before him. Seeing her made him smile brightly.

"It's good to see you here again Luna," Lorenzo greeted.

"Were you busy? I can just come back if you like,"

Luna was already very nervous and to top that she literally came unannounced and disturbed Lorenzo's work.

"I was just finalizing some papers, I'm almost done," he lied. Lorenzo was just about to reach the middle of the pile of papers but because Luna was here, he was willing to ditch his work and besides he wouldn't want her to wait.

Lorenzo fixed his desk and wore his coat before inviting Luna to have lunch. Luna gladly agreed and they both walked out side by side which surprised Lorenzo's staff. They never saw someone daring enough to stand beside their boss and were expecting this lady to be thrown out. But was shocked to see Lorenzo smile while guiding her to the elevator. "Did I just see Sir smile?" One staff asked her colleague. 'Who was that girl' all of them wondered. Their were a lot of rumors about the great Lorenzo Khan, one of the nastiest was one that said he was gay and that was the reason why he was rarely spotted with women unlike other bachelors in town. But what just happened right now diminished all those claims. Making all the women in Lorenzo's staff bubble in jealousy.

After a short drive, the pair arrived at a well known restaurant. The restaurant was known for catering to high-end costumers and of course their lovely menu. The pair were escorted to a private room above the initial table and chairs on the ground below them, the epitome of luxury the upper crust can afford.

As the pair were seated down they both ordered what they wanted. A short while after that silence settled before them. Well, what were to do in this situation?

"What were you wanting for us to discuss about?" Lorenzo spoke first.

"About your proposal —uhm I agree," Luna stutters. 'So embarrassing' she thought.

"Very well then lets get married — let's finish this meal and get this done with," Lorenzo suggested.

"Okay," was all Luna could say.

When the food arrived they started to get to know each other more, just like a couple on their first date. They both asked trivial questions about each other. Like what was his or her favorite color. Blue for Lorenzo and black for Luna. How old were each other and when were their birthday days, simple things they could just pay a private investigator to find but whatever. July 16, 1993 (26 years old) for Lorenzo and January 11, 1997 (23 years old) for Luna. Hearing that Lorenzo was 26 made Luna laugh.

"You're an old man! Almost 30!," she laughed.

"That's rude to say to your husband," Lorenzo interjected.

"Soon to be husband," Luna corrected.

"Soon to be husband now but husband never the less," Lorenzo rebutted.

In simple words, the couple were spending precious time together and both of them were just enjoying each others presence.

The food was delicious but being there to accompany each other was the best feeling both Luna and Lorenzo felt. They felt happily content with each others presence that they felt like they were in Heaven on Earth. A feeling they haven't yet felt before this moment in time. A feeling that made them agree to tie the knot right this very day — May 26, 2020.
