110 Eyes of the Faes

Annalise stared at the twin daggers that Kenric was holding above his palm, surrounded by a massive amount of fire essence. She immediately knew that, unlike the sword, the daggers were not only way more powerful but also valuable.

They matched the aura of their master and she could tell that they also carried the ability to manipulate fire. It was just a guess but a good one based on the flickers of fire energy that she noticed in the handles of the daggers.

She didn't even realize that she was doing it but her hand was already reaching out to touch the weapons. However, before she could have touched them, Kenric stopped her as he closed his palm and the daggers disappeared.
