*BOOOM!!!*

The giant sword wave appeared suddenly, crashing against the city walls and dozens of buildings behind it  were cutted into two!

The powerful attack stunned all the people present. In an instant, about a hundred people and Magical Beasts were killed.

Only three people that were close managed to react. Count Liam, the Captain of the black-dressed men, and Xavier. The reason Marcel and Brian didn't react was that the attack was so fast that not even they could sense it. Not even Marcel's godly senses and skills had any possible way to react in that time.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!" Count Liam bellowed and put all his mana into defense. Like that, he barely managed to avoid being killed.

The Captain's situation was not much better, but he seemed to have managed to escape the radius of the attack in the last second, so his injuries were less severe.

In the end, it was only the members of Team 6 that remained unscathed thanks to Xavier's quick reaction, who's enchanted Netherite Armor on the back had completely destroyed while his exposed back had numerous cracks all over, which he could break any second.

At that moment, a powerful demigod-level pressure crashed against the walls. Everyone managed to see the enemy Demigod in dark clothing getting ready for a second attack, but at that time, someone intervened.

"Come here, you bastard! We are not done here yet!" Samara interjected and was about to attack the enemy in all her rage.

"You little bitch! Are you crazy!? If we fight here we will destroy the whole city!"

But the pissed off Samara seemed as though she did not care about the consequences. She raised her sword and attacked the enemy demigod in dark clothing with a devastating attack, forcing him to move aside and evade.

Fortunately, Samara still seemed to have a bit of reasoning left, because she dissipated the sword attack before it caused destruction on the city.

This was at the level where they could destroy the entire Continent singlehandedly, and devastating countless countries and civilizations within it.

This was the power of the Demigod Realm.

At that moment, the enemy demigod in dark clothing shouted something.

"Captain Cost, take Object #88 and leave! Forget about the targets for now! I will explain to the Boss!"

Cost, the Captain of the black-dressed men moved as soon as he heard these words. Even though he probably could kill the Count if he continued fighting for another minute, he abandoned the fight without hesitation and rushed towards the Containment Box that was holding the creature.

Unfortunately for him, the Count was not planning to let him escape.

"Where do you think you are going!?"

The sword of the Count cut through the air, advancing towards the black-dressed man at the speed ten times faster than sound with full of killing intent around him that made the Captain feel the space around him distorted.

"Tsk!" Captain Cost clicked his tongue in annoyance. He jumped aside and counterattacked with an attack of his own. In just a split second, he managed to disengage the Count again.

That process repeated a few times until he finally had reached the containment box.

Count Liam's eyes reddened, feeling extreme rage growing inside him. Facing the man suspected of killing his son and kidnapping his daughter, and watching how he escaped while he was powerless to stop him, how could he remain calm?

Suddenly, he saw the members of Team 6 from the corner of his eyes.

Although he was slightly surprised that they managed to escape the Demigod's attack unscathed, Count Liam was not in a situation where he could think about that.

Instead, he communicated his intentions with a yell.

"Marcel! Delirious! You, the other guy! Help me to stop him!"

'Help? Now?' That's what Delirious and Marcel thought.

"Who cares that shit anyway, let's ditch that geezer!"  Terroriser said, feeling disinterested as he quickly wore his elytra. Ignoring the pleading Count, his friends followed behind him.

Seeing they ditch, the Count's expression turned ugly. 

"Fuck!"

However, he did not give up and instead continued pursuing the enemy leader.

"Stop right there, you fucking scum!"

Captain Cost ignored him. When he arrived in front of the box, he grabbed it and jumped down the city walls.

But at that moment, a terrifying feeling of danger attacked him.

Looking around, he saw a massive serpent-like creature burrowing out of the ground beside the city walls and jumping towards him!

It was the A-rank Forest Dragon that the group encountered a few days ago!

It had appeared so suddenly that when the Captain noticed it, it was already less than one meter away from him, with its mouth opened to devour him.

The Captain of the black-dressed men reacted instantly. Without thinking, he took out the control Magic Item and injected mana into it.

"Come on, come on, come on!" He shouted, hoping and waiting for the Magic Item to activate for his dear life.

Only for just a mere fraction of a second, it finally lit up!

"Yes!"

But then... Nothing happened.

No blood curdling cry of pain, no thrashing around, and no black blood erupting from its skin.

Instead, the large teeth of the monster pierced his entire body of the Captain and crushed him into a bloody pulp.

Except for his head as it bounced in the ground like a bouncing ball.

"What?"

Even in his death, the Captain of the black-dressed man did not understand what happened.

But when his eyes met the creature in the box, he thought he saw a smirk-like expression, mocking his idiocy.

Little parts of the Forest Dragon's thorns on its skin accidentally broke through the box. Then the tentacled creature walked out of it before it headed towards the head of the Captain. It then extended its tentacles and pierced the head before tearing it into pieces in rage.

Once it was done with its revenge, it grabbed the Magic Item the Captain used to control the monsters and easily destroyed it before absorbing the magic power inside it.

After it had its delicious snack that never had a chance to taste and satisfied its hunger for such a long time, finally, it opened its mouth and let out a loud cry of hunger, wanting more.

"Screeeeeeeech!!"

As though waiting for its signal, hundreds of monsters appeared instantly.

These monsters had been waiting just outside the range of the Magic Item for the moment when their Captain was free.

Even more frighteningly was the fact that at least ten of these monsters were A-Rank, moreover, they had not shown their capabilities until now.

In a choir, the monsters roared and screeched to the sky.

When the mysterious enemy Demigod in dark clothing heard that, his expression changed.
