As soon as he opened his eyes, he found himself engulfed in a layer of darkness.

The darkness was like a menacing horror which was trying to devour him completely.

As he ventured in the darkness, he felt a unbearable pain, it felt like thousands of people were hammering him, breaking him from everywhere.

As the pain become more intense he forced his eyes open which cause the world of darkness to broke apart.

The first thing he saw with his naked eyes was blinding light followed by a unfamiliar ceiling and his most trusted aide, Xu Yan.

"Huh?, young master, you are finally awake.." Xu Yan exclaimed, his sharp and sly face loomed over Ryan with concern blocking him from further assessing his surrounding.

Xu Yan was wrapped in a black robe which consist of a intricate embroidery of golden patterns, as soon as he saw Ryan awoke, he was filled with excitement, knowing that after this moment their life was going to be filled with adventures and thrills.

Putting aside yan's face from one hand, Ryan took a deep yawn before leaning himself against the edge of the bed with a groggy sigh still feeling lethargic and weak.

Seeing him like this, a wave of relief wash over xu yan as he whispered respectfully..,"seems like young master's ritual went smoothly".

Ryan who was still wondering about the dark world he saw during his ritual, didn't notice his trusted servant speaking to him.
