(Third POV)

Looking at the big and intimidating golem knights not far away staring at her, Rosalie tensed. Not because she is afraid of their aesthetics that could give chills, but because the once completely opaque weapons in the hands of the golem knights now gave off a multi-colored glow that gave Rosalie a sense of danger.

According to the voice inside Rosalie's head - which she affectionately named it second personality - the golems were completely clogged with enchantments and spells, which could make her immortality be useless. That doesn't mean they could kill her, just that her immortality advantage would be useless.

What does that mean? Rosalie has no idea.

While still staring at the golems, who remained standing there, menacingly, Rosalie has begun to understand that this world she's in now may very well be completely different from the Harry Potter world she knew - something that never even crossed her mind, until now - and far more dangerous.

It felt like an eternity had passed as Rosalie eyed the golems warily, but only ten seconds had passed. Soon, one of the golems, the one with the huge hammer, lifted one of its feet, and Rosalie immediately tensed up even more.

[Calm down. If you get that nervous, it's going to be hard to face them. Keep your head cool. You're going to need to use the full extent of your current measly power for us to get out of this.]

"But I've never had a real fight in my life! I trained a little in martial arts, but that doesn't count as a real fight!" Rosalie muttered in response.

[If you had listened to me, you wouldn't be in this situation, but training to recover what was stolen from us. In the end, it was my fault for bringing you here.]

Hearing that, Rosalie felt embarrassed and guilty. She was childishly irrational, and she knew it.

"...I'm sorry. I..."

[Save what you want to say for later. Focus on the fight now.]

Rosalie closed her mouth and nodded. She raised her arms in a defensive posture, and clenched her fists tightly, making the gauntlets creak slightly.

The golem with the big hammer stomps to the ground again, and something completely out of Rosalie's expectations happens.

Instead of the golem continuing to walk towards her, he simply disappeared, as if he had never existed in the first place.

'What the hell...?' Rosalie thought confused.

[Don't get distracted! To your right!]

The voice in her head exclaimed, snapping her out of her confusion. Off to her right, she heard a whistle-like sound rapidly approaching her as if something was ripping through the air.

Immediately sensing danger, Rosalie takes action. There was no time to dodge, nor to transform her body. Doing what she could, Rosalie turned toward the source of the approaching sound and crossed her arms over her body.

The moment she turned around and shielded her body with her arms, Rosalie's eyes widened. A huge hammer, bigger than her body, was a centimeter away from her body, ready to hit her.

BANG!

The hammer hit Rosalie's small, slender body with a loud bang. Rosalie immediately felt her body ache - something she never felt after arriving in this new world. Gritting her teeth, she tried to fight the force of the hammer for a second, but it was in vain.

Without being able to do anything about it, Rosalie was sent flying through the air like a cannonball, colliding and destroying one, two, three of the countless large black pillars, stopping only when she hit a fourth pillar, leaving it partially destroyed.

Rosalie coughed, feeling her body burn. "Cof! Cof! Damn it! That hurt! What the hell just happened?!"

[It teleported.]

"They can do that?!"

[It just did it, so yeah.]

"Why didn't you warn me they might do that!"

[I would let you know if I knew. But I didn't build them. What I can tell you is that, for the pain and heaviness we are feeling, the weapons are enchanted with Holy Enchantments, Dark Enchantments, Inhibiting Enchantments, Sealing Enchantments, and at least a dozen others.]

"Well, that's overkill. Any tips?"

[Don't get hit.]

"That's easy for you to say!"

Without giving Rosalie any more time, a golem suddenly appears beside her, standing on the pillar, as if playing with gravity. The golem had a large obsidian sword, and quickly attacked, aiming for Rosalie's heart.

Rosalie puts strength in her legs, and does a backflip, dodging the big sword, which easily penetrated the pillar like a hot knife through butter.

Like the golem, Rosalie was also on her feet, ignoring gravity. Without giving the Golem a chance to retrieve its sword and strike again, Rosalie kicks the ground and throws a punch with all her might toward the large golem's chest, but then she sees supersonic projectiles coming towards her. Giving up on attacking the sword golem, she jumps back and manages to dodge the arrows that, upon impact, created small craters where they hit, showing the strength behind it.

In the meantime, the sword golem had already recovered, and teleported behind her, ready to cut her in two.

[Behind you!]

Feeling the presence of the golem and the sword right at her back, Rosalie ducks, dodging the sword again, and counterattacks by turning with an upper-cut. An attack that the golem easily dodges by stepping back.

But Rosalie wasn't done. She prepares to strike again, but then she feels something catch on her ankle.

"???"

Confused, she looks down at her ankle and sees a whip tied to it.

Not far from where she was, on the ground, was one of the knights, holding the whip that was strapped to her ankle.

"This is unfair..."

The golem did not respond. Instead, he pulled Rosalie hard and began to spin her through the air, hitting several more pillars in the process, and then throwing her away.

Rosalie landed on the floor with a thud, shattering the floor, and rolling a few feet. Rosalie, on the ground, stares at the endless ceiling of the gigantic salon.

She was completely serene, different from her dangerous situation and the pain she was feeling in her body due to the golem weapons touching her body.

"Yeah, I don't think I can do this," Rosalie said confidently.

[You are really pathetic. Not even one minute have passed and you're already giving up.]

"What do you expect me to do? It's four against one. They have a full advantage."

[That's because you're stupid.]

"Hey! Now is not the time to say truths that I would not want to hear!"

[No, seriously, you're stupid. Why are you fighting like a human when you're not one?]

"That's...."

Rosalie froze for a moment. That was true, she wasn't human anymore, why was she fighting like one? The only reason would be that, deep down, she still sees herself as human.

Rosalie smiled. It seems that even after being transmigrated into a vampire, she is still her. Well, kind of, with some new sadistic tendencies and a taste for blood.

There was a shadow that had been hanging over Rosalie's heart for the past week, a shadow of worry.

Will she still be herself?

Will she become a monster?

What if she becomes crazy?

Because of that shadow, she hid behind a cloak of childishness and frivolity, trying to make herself comfortable in this new world and this new reality.

"Hey, can I ask you something?"

[I don't think we have time for that, but go ahead.]

"Do you think I'm still me?"

[I dunno. But if you want to answer that, first you need to question yourself, who are you?]

"..."

'Who am I? Am I Rosalie, or am I the human I was before? Or am I something else? I don't know,' Rosalie thought. 'But...I want to find out.'

Picking herself up off the ground, a wave of perseverance suddenly filled Rosalie.

n order to answer herself, she needs to get out of there, and for that, she needs to learn to fight not like a human, but like a vampire.

With conviction restored, Rosalie fiercely glared at the golems that looked ready to strike at any moment. "Alright, what do I have to do to fight like a vampire?"
