1 Blood Greetings

In the luxurious hall filled with different types of rubies, inside the Vampire Queen's castle. The servants are gathered by the butler and the steward for the up coming grand ball for the queen's awakening, the day after tomorrow.

The Queen will be waking up tomorrow, by midnight. This information was kept a secret, and only the council knows about her waking up tomorrow, everyone else assume that the Queen will wake up the same date sa the grand ball.

While the steward and butler talk, one after the other. The servants listen very eagerly, they heard that the Queen has this innocent and very beautiful face when asleep, but when she's awake, she can make anyone faint with just a stare.

They even heard that the queen won't bat an eye when killing a servant whose fault was just walking too loud.

"All the details have been properly said, do you all have any suggestion about the grand ball? We can use some of your useful ideas." The servants bowed to the butler.

"It seem like there's none so far....the meeting is adjourned." Bowing once again, the servants quickly went back to there assigned tasks.

The butler and the steward decided to talk for a bit after the servants are gone.

"Before tomorrow's awakening, make sure to double the queen's guard, talk to the head Knight for me. We should be there before the Queen wakes up.

" I would glady do so, my lord." The steward laugh a little with how formal the butler is talking to him.

" You sound like a talking wood, I just haven't seen you for a while due to the busy schedule, why are you suddenly being so cold?" Being friends for decades, the steward and butler have grown accustomed with each other.

"I heard you were busy, chasing of a beauty. You can't marry, while I'm still single. That would be unfair for our long friendship."

"I-I" Stammering to say an explanation for his friend, the steward was left speechless. The butler bowed again. "I rather not delay you any longer, my lord." Walking away. The butler kept his straight face, leaving a speechless, handsome steward.

....

*The day after*

*30 minutes before midnight*

In the darkness of the night, two handsome tall and fair men are walking side by side, heading to the north wing, where the queen's chamber is. The man wearing a black tuxedo with a dashing black hair is the butler himself, while the man wearing a red suit with his long slicked back blonde hair.

"Casper, why are you so handsome tonight, are you planning to hit on the queen?" The butler looked at the man wearing a red suit who's walking by his side with a poker face.

"Why would I hit on her? I still want my head intact to my neck." Casper, the butler answered. "And since the day I was born, I'm already handsome, but the queen never bothered to look at me for more than five seconds." He added.

"She's really loyal to her fiancé, I guess."

Red, the steward remarked. "Why is he not here, by the way?" Red asked him.

"I think he wants to meet her tomorrow and not this midnight."

Red was looking at Casper while walking and he stopped when Casper stopped.

"Why did we stop?" Red asked him.

"Face front." Breathing heavily, Casper quitely instructed him to face forward. The sight that greeted them was grotesque, there are more than ten guards, lying lifeless on the marbled floor, outside the queen's chamber with their blood pooling beneath them.

" Let's go inside." Casper nooded his head and both of them quickly head inside the queen's chamber, making sure to not step on the dead knights body who's head are cut off and some who's heart is missing.

When they saw that the queen's coffin made of dark red painite is opened. Without her lying on it.

[D-did the queen killed all the knights ?]
