20 The First War of Vampires

Diego called everyone else about Harry's situation. He heard the broken windows which raises his suspicion that something happened to Harry. Over the phone they set to meet at President Slacovich's office and together they all went to the lady's house which Harry had dinner with. They used three cars with 2 person in each. They're all worried for Harry's safety and the family he's helping. About a few minutes driving like a racer they arrived at their destination. The windows on the right side of the hoyse are broken down and the door was obviously forced open by great strength. From how the door looks, it must have been kicked down. They hurried inside and saw ashes on the floor. Tyler studied and the ashes and figured out that it's the same as what happened to the people back in the facility when they went on a rampage and drained each and everyone of them.

"This isn't right! Who could have done this?" Slacovich grinned his teeth in anger when they hear someone groan in pain on the dining area."

"HARRY!! It's Harry!!" Ara exclaimed.

"Oof! A-Ara is that...you?" Harry opened his eyes slowly and tried to sit up but the pain all over his body causes him to lay back down. The other hurried to support him and laybhim comfortably on the couch.

"What happened here? Who did this?" Sofie worriedly asked Harry who's trying his best to talk.

"I think they're from the Hellgazers clan. They're vampires. I'm sure of it. They killed her daughter and now they've took her. I don't know what they want with her."

"When he said he has an army I only thought he's bluffing. That man's courting death messing with us." Slacovich carried Harry to Tyler's car. "Tyler, Ara I need you two to take Harry to the hospital. Take care of him."

"Where are you going? Let us help." Tyler insisted.

"No! You two haven't been recognized as a part of Demonfire clan. I won't risk it. Having you two involved in this might blow up your covers. Let the rest of us rescue the lady and teach them a lesson." Tyler and Ara just followed Slacovich's instruction. Their friend needs to get immediate help and the two of them must hurry. Even though Tyler doesn't wanna leave them he just chose to follow than to object. He knows its for the good of all of them.

"It's not because your weak or what. You two have skills we don't have. Don't think negatively on Slacovich's decisions. You two know more than us how important your roles are. So please take care of Harry first and we'll contact you after." Sofie smiled at them as Tyler looks down embarrased for he's thinking exactly as what Sofie just said. He then lifts up his face and smiled back.

"You can count on us." Tyler hits the engine and starts of the car. The rest went inside the cars they brought and preparing to leave the area.

"Li, any news on the location?" Diego asked as he fastend his seatbelt and Li's.

"Almost there." She furiously types at her laptop and tracking the location of the lady's phone. Whebn she got the address she then send it to Slacovich's phone and both cars hurried to their next location.

Inside an old cruise ship that's been unused for decades is the current hiding place of the intruders and a few men from the Hellgazers clan. The lady was taken there and tied up. She's so scared at the moment and recalls her daughter turning into ashes. These men aren't human beings. They're monster. That's what keeps on echoing inside her head. The leader of the men inside answered his phone and talked with his boss. He informed his men that the boss is going to come over and interrogate the woman himself. Not long the one they called boss arrived together with a woman. He then sits on a chair facing the tied up woman and leans closer to show his face.

"IT'S YOU!" She furiously exclaimed.

"What about me?" He lift up her chin and leans even more closer. He can feel her breathing.

"What do you want from me? What would someone as mighty as you want from me?" She bursted into tears.

"I need information. You better cooperate or things would get ugly." He let's go of her chin and moves back a bit.

"What information?" She glared at him.

"Who gave you the evidences on the medical accident 6 years ago?"

"It's none of your business!" She spits on him which landed on his shoe.

"You're trying my patience woman!"

"Tch. I don't fear death. Your men already killed my daughter. You might as well kill me too. I won't repay kindness with betrayal. You can't have what you seek." She holds her breath trying to suffocate herself.

"Stop that!" He kicked her on the wall making her curl up in pain and cough blood. She's already too weak for she's old. The scent of blood triggers the serum within his body as well as his men. They all went out of control. Dr. Spencer hurriedly escaped the scene before she gets caught and have her blood drained by those monsters.

"That old man! I'm going to get killed in there!" She annoyingly went inside the car as she noticed two cars approaching the area. Calling Volton to warn him is useless in his current state.

Slacovich, Sofie, Diego and Li went out of the car and with great speed they reach the inside of the ship. They saw the lady being bitten in every part of her. The four of them activates their vampire form and grabs everyone circling the lady. But it's too late for she starts turning into ashes. Volton and his men went flying to the edge of the ship as they throw them away. They know they're outnumbered but they're more advantageous in their enemies current state. They're mad vampire and will attack every human near the area. They won't let them get away, not even a single one. Volton gets back to his senses after drinking a bit of blood but his men are still raging for the unsatisfied thirst makes them even more out of control.

"Well, well, look who's here." Volton's devilish grin makes Slacovich even more furious.

"How dare you pick on innocent people! You're really out of control!" Slacovich in a blink of an eye appears in front of Volton. The latter isn't surprise, he chokes Slacovich and throws him hard on the ground. Sofie backed him up and kicked Volton's face causing him to roll over the floor several times till he hit the edge.

"You bitch!" He stands up and signals his men to attack.

"You're a failure Volton Hellgazer! You can never match a successful mutated vampire!" Slacovich grins glaring at him.

"KILL THEM ALL!!!!" He raged and totally loses control over himself. He and his men seems to turn into something more monster like. Their figures are thinner compare to them and the humps on their backs suddenly spreads bonelike bat wings. All of them rampaged on the ship trying to get out.

"Some of them are trying to escape!" Diego yelled in order to be heard.

"We can't let that happen." Li takes out a remote control and then deploys 5 drones attached with guns fully geared with silver bullets. She aims at the ones flying trying to destroy the ship's wall for them to escape.

"Nice!" Diego smiles at her winking. Li flustered.

"Tyler invented this one. I just programmed it." She continues firing on the escapees. But one actually escaped and freely roams outside the area. The four of them got distracted by the one that escaped and Volton takes advantage as he snatch up the remote from Li and smash it. Bringing down all the drones letting his men destroy it.

"One escapee is enough to make the humans you cared a lot suffer. As you can see, when they turned like that, no matter how much blood they drink they won't be able to change back to normal. And I have an army of those as well." He laughed evily boasting on the failures he created.

"You don't have any conscience!" Sofie blurted out.

"I am no longer human. You should act accordingly to ehat you really are. We are far more dominant the those humans yet you guys prefer to live solemnly with them. I can't stand that!" Volton attacked Slacovich and the two of them fought head on. Sofie and Li took care of the others while Diego followed the escapee.

"You guys take care!" Diego spreads his bat wings and flies out of the ship following the direction of the escapee. Volton can't believe that they have the ability to deploy their wings as they like and it's perfectly in good shape.

"Envious President Hellgazer? We all have that ability. How about you?" Slacovich punches his face a couple times before Volton's able to block it. He then grip Slacovich's arms and throws him over. He then sits on top of Slacovich and return his punches. Slacovich shapeshift into a snake crawling away from Volton and turns back into his vampire form. Volton realized his lacking too much of this abilities.

"How are you able to control your powers? Changing into something at will! Tell me!!" He furiously hit Slacovich who dodges his every attack.

"Cause we are a successfully made while you on the other hand is a failure!" Sofie bursted out. Volton glared at her and rushed to her side giving Sofie a great kick on the stomach. Slacovich's able to catch her before she hits the wall.

"Take care, the more we provokes him the more he becomes powerful. We can't afford to do that. Even though we're able to fully control our powers yet don't forget, it's been months since we drank pure blood from a human. It's our disadvantage at the moment." He whispered as he helped her stand up.

"I know, I'm sorry." Sofie whispered back.

Li kept the others busy buying Slacovich and Sofie sometime to get back to their positions. Volton's about to attacked her but she manages to step back in time dodging his raging punches.

"Any plans? Cause I can't think straight when pressured." Li giggles even though she's exhausted.

"We can't retreat without defeating these monsters. It's a great threat for the people around the area." Slacovich studies the whole area for anything that can help them.

"So President Slacovich are you still up to fight?" Sofie smiles at him.

"I won't back down on this one." He grins and attacks Volton. He signaled the two to focus on the remaining rampaging vampire.

On the other hand, Diego managed to catch up with the escapee. It already landed on a cafeteria grabbing a man as it sucks his blood dry. Diego grabs it from behind flying him out of the area. It already killed 6 people and there are witnesses. The bodies turns into ashes as been blown away from his flapping wings. He grabs his dagger made of silver and stabbed the escapee's heart. He then let it go turning into ashes as it falls down. He went back to the cafeteria in human form and pretends to witness the whole tragedy.

"Monsters!!" He shouted. A man pulls him to hide beside him. He's trembling and holding a shotgun.

"Keep it low! The monster's still outside." In a shaking voice.

"How many people witnessed it?"

"Me, and two others who are in the bathroom. He killed my wife and five other customers."

"Look into my eyes, everything will be fine." The man looks at his eyes then Diego erases his memory of that night, sadly he needs to make the man believe his wife died a few years back and that he doesn't wanna talk about anything related to his wife. He did the same to the other witnesses. After completing what he needs to do he went back to the ship to help the others.
