9 HEAL HER

The witch's eyes transferred to Blair from Lucien.

"A werewolf?" she muttered as she threw back a confused look at Lucien. The expression on her face changed from wanting to attack him to completely losing the urge to harm anyone.

All Lucien could see in her eyes at that moment was confusion and curiosity.

The witch girl slowly strolled towards Blair. She looked at Blair intently and with compassion as Blair's body shuddered, her face blanched in pain.

The witch gritted her teeth, and her eyebrows met as she looked back at Lucien. "What have you done with this wolf?"

"He... he had done nothing wrong. He helped me," Blair muttered in a small distressed voice while catching her breath and trying to let out a word despite all the pain she was going through.

The witch's appearance changed. Her livid look towards Lucien softened.

"What happened to her?" she asked.

"She stepped on something that wounded her, and her body couldn't afford to heal itself," Lucien answered.
