Chapter 30: The Deal

Inside the prestigious company, specifically the top floor the two souls meant to be each other's salvation, are clawing at each other's throat.

"I accept your offer…??? Is that what you want me to say you bastard?!" Grace exclaimed as she slowly looks up to Claude. She's now the one laughing creepily while clapping her hands as she slowly stands up. She's the one having this crazed look. 

Claude blinks, as he cannot fantom if what he saw was real. 

Those eyes…Those eyes only belong to…

But as he looks at her again, her eyes are now back to its original color, brown. 

Still in the state of shock, he was brought back through his senses when he heard Grace's booming voice. 

"Did you actually believe I was going to bow down to you? Huh. You underestimated me. I'm not the type to sit around and beg. I'm done being like that. And yes. We have something to talk about…Where is Penelope?!"
