"Shushhhhh!! Stay quiet now and keep hiding." Lisa placed her finger on her lips and signalled Marc to stay mum.
Marc, who was utterly confused anyhow decided to obey the girl. He did not even know, why he was still trusting the girl and obeying her like a good student. He was now standing still, looking petrified at the girl, when she slowly started to wipe her mouth with her clothes. She looked more like a girl who after playing her part, was now wiping away her makeup.
She then walked close to the door and slowly opened it with a smile. Right in front of her was standing the same giant beast on much anger. Its red eyes shining in the dark, while its large teeth showing out of much anger.
"ROARRRRRRR!!!"
As soon as the girl opened the door, another thunderous growl echoed in the air and Marc's heart had literally stopped beating, where as the girl was yet smiling looking at the beast, clearly not scared. "So, how come a werewolf has knocked on my door today?"
The beast growled again in much anger, stepping much closer to the girl.
"ROARRRRR!!"
"You are spitting on my face. Clearly you cannot dare to offend me like that." Lisa folded her hands across her chest, smirking in much challanging manner.
To Marc's surprise, the giant beast instantly, took a few steps back and lowered its head as if scared of the delicate girl. "He is not here! And I suggest you to play a fair game. He is not the one now and don't forget killing him right now is against the rules of your clan." Lisa's tone had now grown a bit authoritative.
The beast was now standing still and looking at the dare. It dared not to growl or take a step ahead.
"It is just a matter of few days and then he is all yours. If then you have the power, then try to defeat him. Right now, he is weak and fragile!" The girl pointed her finger straight towards the beast's face, making it to take a step back.
Marc could not understand what Lisa was saying, but clearly it ws working. Not just the beast was listening to her, but also eveidently afraid of her.
"And don't forget, it is the curse that it protecting him till now. Do you want to try and harm him, and defy my mother's promise?" The girl tilted her head, her expeession was turning grave and threatening again.
The beast let out a soft scared moan and bowed its head further. In another few seconds, to Marc's surprise the beast took a another few steps backwards and turned around, sprinting away in fear.
Lisa's facial expressions did not change as of she already knew that she would be able to scare the beast. She then turned to look at Marc in much seriouseness. "Your work is done. He will not come after you atleast for a few days. You will soon know, what I am saying. You should leave now."
"But... you ...? I mean how..? And who are you...? How did you manage...? Marc's head was full of questions as he stammered in much hesitation.
"You will soon know everything. Now please leave and take the trail from left and keep walking straight, till you don't reach your house." Lisa held Marc's arm and pushed him out of her house, slamming the door on his face.
Marc was a little taken aback and kept looking at the door in much confusion. He wanted to knock on the door but let out a loud sigh. "Whatever it is, I really hope destiny makes us meet again Lisa."
He then walked away from the house and took the trail as per Lisa's instructions.
