The attack

Amber stood in front of the vampire speechless. She has never met a vampire that was so honest and polite.

'' it's alright. Forgive me for being so rude'' Amber said with embarrassment.

''I believe we have met before'' Alexander said with curiosity.

''I don't think we have. I'm sorry if we have but I can't recall ever meeting you. You are apart of the council aren't you? You may know my father then Mr Everwood, he is an important part of the council'' Amber replied.

'' I've met your father and I believe we've met once when you were sitting in on the meeting''

Amber paused for a moment trying to remember when she had met this mysterious vampire.

''what is your name? '' Amber asked.

'' Alexander''

''as in Alexander the one who is me at to be the future king of vampires.''

'' I believe so but I might give my position to my brother. King doesn't really appeal to me. Anyway you should head back inside I think your father is worried about where you are. ''

'' right'' Amber said surprised that she has been standing out in the cold with a vampire.

As Amber heads back inside, Alexander a couple of metres behind, Amber begins to wander what made Alexander have such an impact on her. Was it his title? Was it his appearance? Whagever it was Amber disliked it. She hates all vampires why should one of them have such an impact on her, especially the Prince.

Back inside Amber goes straight to her father, Mathew, who is talking to two members of the council, luckily they were both humans.

'' father, sorry if I worried you, I just needed fresh air'' Amber said hoping to get a reply.

Her father did not reply because he was talking to the members of the council.

''father? '' Amber said with hopefulness.

'' hey sweetie where have you been? I missed you. You should really talk to some people, introduce yourself, you never know you could make some new friends. ''

'' father you know how I feel about vampires, ever since mum... I just... I need time'' amber said with a soft, sad voice.

'' I understand. Amber do you realise that Alexander keeps on looking at you.''

As soon as Mathew said the name Alexander, Amber's head turns round and their he was staring at her. Amber's heart started beating wildly in her chest. Her blood rushed to the surface. Alexander starts making his way towards her. Face flushed, Amber turned back towards her father.

'' I had the pleasure of meeting Prince Alexander when I was ourside''

Alexander is standing right beside her. She can sense his pressance just by the tension between them.

''mr Everwood, its a pleasure to meet you again'' Alexander said shaking Mathew's hand.

'' likewise'' Mr Everwood replied.'' my daughter was just talking about you''

''I met her only recently but I must say she is lucky to have a father like you. Now I must ask her if she would like to dance with me. I believe that your daughter hasn't introduced herself to many people tonight and I hope I can help her with that'' as soon amber realised what was going on anger filled the room.

'' just because-'' Amber was beginning to make a comeback but her father cut her off.

'' she would love to dance with you'' Mathew said pushing her daughter towards Alexander.

Amber couldn't back out of it now. With Alexander's hand opened for her to place her hand into his the room fell silent. As everyone's eyes fell on the human and the vampire. They both made there way towards the dance floor, Amber beginning to feel nervous. Other couples were dancing aswell but Alexander dragged her to the centre. They stood opposite to each other. Both staring into each others eyes. What could possibly go wrong?
