9 Chapter 9

Just then Kuro walks in. "You four are free to spend the night here, I will send my butler and maid to go buy you some clothes to have here." He says, looking at William, Yami, Shizen, and Karera.

William shakes his head and says, "Oh, no you don't have to do that for us!" I pet Midnight, trying to ignore the fact that my mind is trying to make me shift into a cat. It's almost instinctive.

I sigh and say, "Just let him do it." I then let myself turn into a black cat with dark purple eyes. "Meow?" I meowed, looking around.

Shizen says, "Incredible, it's almost as if it was instinctive. But, she looked stressed just before she shifted." William then pets me, which calms me down. I purr happily as William begins to scratch behind my ears.

"Mreow!" I meow happily, my tail swaying left and right. William continues to scratch me behind my ears.

"It seems she likes you William. Normally, after a vampire shifts for the first time they remain agitated or angry, depending on the mood they were in that caused the change in the first place." Kuro says, watching William as he sat down on my bed and put me in his lap. "Careful, her claws are sharp!" Kuro says with worry. Luckily, my claws aren't out so William doesn't get hurt.

"It's fine, see? She won't hurt me even if she claimed she would. Besides, like you said, she likes me." William says. Eventually we all grow tired.

"Alright. Get some sleep, all of you. I will be downstairs in the living room." Kuro says as he leaves the room and William lays down on my bed. I walk across his chest and lay down, purring. Then we all fall asleep.
