7 Chapter 7

We arrived at a mansion not too far from the school. "Uncle, is this where you live?" I asked after looking out the tinted windows. Midnight was asleep in my lap, purring away.

"Yes, it is." Kuro answers with a slight smile. William and the others are asleep too.

"Uncle, we should call their parents so they know where they are." I say with a grin. I'm much more of a night owl than they are apparently, but then again I'm a vampire.

"I'll call their parents as soon as we get them all inside, then I'll teach you how to shift into a bat. You'll have to learn how to shift into a cat on your own my dear." Kuro says, ruffling my hair. I look up at him and smile.

"What will you tell dad? What about my room? And all my clothes too." I say, tilting my head.

Kuro smiles and says, "My butler and maid will collect your stuff. Your mother made sure that I had a room identical to the one at your dad's house." We then reach the mansion and Kuro helps me out before waking up William, Yami, Shizen, and Karera.

William yawns and says, sleepily, "Huh? Where are we?"
