1 Promise of Great Pain and Suffering

Today is the day.

Erin has been waiting for this day for one hundred years and now that it is finally here, it feels like his heart is on the brink of beating. Vampire's hearts don't beat often, only in moments of great passion or love or hate.

Kate has been asleep for a century, thanks to Mambo's curse and the witch told Erin that once Kate wakes up, they wil both suffer as she will not recognise him, her great love, and he will have no way of piecing back together their past to make her remember him.

Great pain and suffering is what Mambo promised Erin, but now all he can think about is seeing his love again.

Kate is beautiful and will always have his heart. He has not and will never fall for another. But the Kate who will be awakened today, won't be aware of that. She will see him as much of a stranger as she will see herself, and Erin believes he is ready for that. He is ready to teach her and make her fall in love with him all over again.
