Change

She laid in bed and was consumed with the sadness she was feeling from saying goodbye to her loved ones. Rosie had just died. What made her confused was the crying she heard and the discomfort she was in. She opened her eyes and saw a girl crying on the sheets of the bed she was lying in. It made her frustrated and she moved the hand the girl was holding. She saw a girl about the age of 17 with brown eyes and blonde hair, and she was smiling. "Oh Miss, Miss! I thought I had lost you." Tears were running down her eyes. I stayed by your side all night trying to keep your fever down. The girl dabbed a rag into a bowl of water and started to wipe Rosie's forehead softly. "Miss, you must get ready and go see Lady Tori." She insisted you go see her the minute you woke up." Rosie was still perplexed about everything that was going on. "How was she going to see someone feeling like this" she thought to herself and "Why was she seeing someone." She was still trying to make sense of all these things when the girl helped her sit up at the corner of the bed. "Really Miss those people from the first family are too much! They refused to give a pill because they said we used up our allowance for our month and our pills the doctor had given to us." The girl brought a yellow dress that seemed thinner than the dress she was wearing. It was something you would wear under a dress. Rosie put it on unquestionably she had no idea what was going on and didn't want anyone to notice either. After that, the girl put a robe on her and brushed her hair.

Who she saw in the mirror was not her at all. It was a young girl with. Bright-eyed, black wavy hair and pink pouty lips. She felt her face and looked in the mirror. Yes, that was her. She was a beauty. How she came to look like that from a frizzy brown hair with bad skin she had no clue but would not complain. Rosie looked at the girl in the mirror, and she looked about the age of 18, and she was 25. "Miss hold on to me, you will lean on me to get to the front hall." Rosie did just that. She tried to walk her fastest, so the girl wouldn't have to work so hard. While they were walking down the hall, she took note of the gothic design of the house. It was nice and clean. They continued to walk down the hall and there were maids dusting, sweeping and whispering to each other. They went down spiral steps to a room on the left. It was somewhat cold, and she pulled her robe closer to herself. She assumed this was the main hall the girl mentioned. From a door across them came out a short, stout man. "The Lady De Tori will be here soon." That name. That was her last name. Rosie felt a little faint. "Miss, are you okay? Do you need anything?" The girl said. "Ed, can you please bring Miss a pillow? You're also a servant." The stout man rolled his eyes and walked away. Ed came back with a pillow and handed it over to Rosie. "Here you are, Lila." he said. Lila took the pillow and gently put it behind Rosie. After waiting a little bit, Rosie began to get more uncomfortable. "Miss, are you okay?" Rosie nodded her head. "Did this lady not know she was sick? She thought to herself. A Lady with her blonde hair tied up with a black silver pin and wearing an extravagant black robe and with layers of skirts under walked in at that moment. She daintily took a seat. Ed was holding a fan and then handed it to her. There was a box next to her, and she looked at Ed. He walked over, grabbed the box and gave it to Lila. "Oh my goodness, Rosie, I am so sorry. We found this pill of yours in a storage closet while desperately looking for it, and finally did this morning." Lady De Tori said. Lila popped open the box and there was a large white pill. She looked at the lady and had a bad feeling about her. "Well thank you very much Lady De Tori, your concern was enough for me." Lady De Tori put her fan down on her lap and held the handle of the fan tightly. "Yes, I suppose." she said. "You may leave." Rosie put the pill in her mouth and Lady Tori was taken a back. Lila jumped and went and poured tea for her as quickly as she could. Rosie swallowed it. She stared at Lady Tori. "I'm sorry, but I cannot walk back to my room feeling so sick. I'm sure you understand?" Lady De Torie looked at her up and down, started fanning herself and walked away. All a sudden, a surge of energy hit her. She felt like running back to the room. But something else hit her, a wave of memories that weren't hers.

She was Rosie De Torie, but not the Rosie De Tori that lived in New York that was 25 and worked as a waitress. This Rosie De Tori was 17, soon to be 18 and had a tutor. She did die from a dangerous blood disorder. The other girl died that night from that fever. For some reason, she was reincarnated into this body. The memories continue to hit her, and Lila tried to get her up from the chair. "Ugh, what is it Lila?" Rosie's eyes turned red. This did not disturb Lila because if you upset anyone who was a Vampire they would react this way.
