At the top of Shakespeare Memorial High School is junior Lynx Avery Gray. With good looks, a 'richie rich' family, high standing, keen intellect, and charming personality, she is in high demand whether it be in academics, social gatherings, or as an ideal girlfriend. She is often bombarded with flirty greetings, hallway confessions, and anonymous gifts - so much so that it's been the bane of her existence for 16 years. In the midst of being chased by suitors and admirers on Valentine's Day, Lynx was surprised to meet Leo Castor Harrison in a movie theater featuring the year's most hyped-up horror movie in her attempt to survive the day without being hunted down by stalkers. Turns out, Leo shares the same frustrations as her. They were in separate schools but knew each other through rumors, social media, and elite social events. After ranting about their vexation on their situations, both had the same brilliant idea - this could all be avoided if they just fake dated.
