7 Part 7 - One Of Vaeg's Many Incidents

As the ship approached the coast, two docks became visible. One was right by the village of Lvneel and the other led straight into the marine HQ situated near the village.

"Where should we dock?" Barbosa asked.

"I think we should dock at the village and walk to the marine HQ to hand in the bounties." Jimmy replied.

"Why the fuck would we do that when we could just go there right now?" Nargo complained.

"Currently, Barbosa, Jenkins and Leroy are wanted. Also, we kidnapped a bloody lieutenant. If they inspect our ship, we are screwed." Jimmy said, seemingly worried.

"If I may interject. There might of being some lucky fellows who survived and told the story of our decimation of the pirate base. Therefore, we may be on a time limit so until then we need to claim the bounties we obtained, quickly and discreetly, fine gentlemen. Oh, and gentlewoman." Whatz D Face said, everyone surprised he was capable of such thinking.

"Fucking fine. Let's dock at the village." Nargo declared.

It took roughly two hours to anchor and prepare to exit the ship. Leroy, Jenkins and Barbosa were left to tend to the ship due to their wanted status. Leroy, extremely disappointed he couldn't go to show off his manliness in front the villagers, decided to entertain himself by flexing his spectacular muscles in front of the captured Lt. Dawn, who was moved to the bottom deck, just in case. Jenkins decided to polish his multitude of weapons whilst Barbosa kept lookout.

The rest of the group headed towards the marine HQ. The village was pretty large, considering most of the land on the coast seemed to be taken up by the marine HQ. It was oddly beautiful, despite the horrific pink castle on the top of a hill in the distance. There was expertly thatched houses lining every street and children playing carelessly. It seemed to be perfect weather and temperature.

Upon reaching the gates of the marine HQ, Tim Tim marvelled at how tall it was, alongside Belsari, who had had her weapon temporarily confiscated by Jimmy, taking some notes of its architecture and structure.

"Remember try not to stand out and be on your best behaviour." Jimmy said.

"I don't know if you're stupid Jimbo but how are we not going to stand out? Cry-baby sissy over here has a six-foot mutt. Pyromaniac has a third mechanical arm. Your nose is obnoxiously long. I mean I could go on all day." Vaeg replied.

"Doctor Vaeg, please don't start a fight, is what I'm trying to get across and I'll have you know my nose is perfectly fine. Noses come in all shapes and sizes." Jimmy said, clearly offended by Vaeg's insult.

"Can we just fucking enter and get our money already?" Nargo asked impatiently.

The party entered and were met by several marines who inspected their gear and checked their reasons of visiting. After this, they were asked to wait several minutes to which a rather burly man finally arrived.

"I am Lieutenant Leopaw and I will direct you to the office of Ensign Masterson."

Upon arriving inside the HQ, which was spacious and lusciously decorated in ornaments and hanging pictures of marines, they were led to a room with a lean man, with sideburns and a goatee style beard, swivel on his chair to meet the party.

"This party of bounty hunters are here to claim the bounties of Golden Tooth Ezekiel and his first mate Sabre Tooth Cadayga." Leopaw said.

Tim Tim, who had tied the heads onto Ronin's side, quickly handed him the heads.

"Strange... How have they come back quicker than our more than capable Lt. Dawn?"

Masterson eyed the group suspiciously.

"We have no idea who this Lt. Dawn is, but we didn't see him on Sparrow Island." Jimmy said, trying to dodge the question.

"No matter. Grab what is owed to them." Masterson turned to the group, "If you find anything out, please let me know." When he said this, it felt like a cold dagger had been placed on the group's throat. "Would be a shame to lose a competent soldier?"

Leopaw returned with a briefcase full of money and handed it to the Vaeg pirates.

"Now please leave. I have important matters to tend to." Masterson coldly waved them off.

As they exited the office and went back into the lobby, a glint caught Nargo's eye. Observing more, he realized it was a camera with someone taking pictures of the group. Naturally, Nargo assumed a pose and pointed at Whatz D Face.

"Oh, you're approaching me!" Nargo shouted.

Catching on, Whatz D Face continued, "Jotaro!"

"Dio!"

Everyone, extremely confused by the weirdly impressive performance, were ushered out quicker by Leopaw who looked worried.

"Shall we split the cash?" Nargo said excitedly.

"First, let's go to IPEA and buy some furniture. We'll split it afterwards." Jimmy said.

For the first time in a while, everyone actually agreed since their backs were extremely sore from laying on the deck with no beds. The only people not really bothered by having furniture were Vaeg, who was using Lt. Dawn as an experimental guinea pig and bed, Tim Tim, who had Ronin wrap round him with his soft fur, and Belsari, who didn't actually need sleep but found a leisure in doing it, but they all still wanted a little more comfort.

After arriving, at IPEA, which was of respectable size, they entered and went straight to the receptionist. She was in her mid twenties, brunette and had striking blue eyes.

"May I help you?" she said.

"Yes. We're looking for furniture for our ship and maybe other things." Jimmy said.

"May I recommend one of our premium packages, if you're looking for a remodel?"

"Sounds interesting, please explain."

"Our first package consists of the basic essentials, like bedding and modest decorations, as well as lighting. That will cost roughly 3,000,000 Beli.

The second package we offer is, in my opinion, clearly superior to the first. A complete remodel of the interior of the ship. Examples being: kitchen, doctor's operating room, a gym, a lavish captain's quarters and even more. This will cost a mere 9,000,000 Beli.

The third package is the best of the best. It consists of everything in package two but with the added inclusion of: toilets, every room adorned with the highest quality material, and me. That last one was a joke obviously. I'm happily married. Anyway, the third package costs a tidy 15,000,000 Beli."

Whilst most of the group mulled over the decision, Vaeg and Whatz D Face attempted flirting with the lady.

"Beautiful gentle woman, angel from above, please allow me to take you out to dinner tonight." Whatz D Face started.

"Now why would you want him when you could have me? The greatest human to ever exist. Unlike this lowlife, who only knows how to speak, I am an expert in pleasure." Vaeg said.

She eyed them both up curiously and whispered, "You talk a big game but do you actually pack it."

"Oh my, we're already at that stage are we young lady."

As Whatz D Face said this, he pulled down his trousers.

Just as he thought he was winning, the lady said, "Is that it?"

To make matters worse after the severe destruction of her words, Vaeg grabbed hold of a scalpel that was hanging on his belt. With incredible speed, precision, and absolute sheer audacity, Vaeg managed to invert Whatz D Face's stick, cut it off his body and reattach it backwards. The lady screamed at the horrifying sight whilst Whatz D Face was slowly overcome by the realization of what had happened. He started to panic, but Nargo, who had witnessed the whole thing, reminded Whatz D Face of his regenerative abilities.

Painfully slowly, Whatz D Face's stick fixed itself and what was surrounding him, was an obscene amount of blood. Vaeg and Nargo were laughing so hard at Whatz D Face whilst the woman was clearly traumatized by the experience. Jimmy turned round, after finally deciding what package they should go for, and was met by a whimpering Whatz D Face covered in red. Jimmy just ignored this and went straight to the counter, avoiding the patches of blood.

"I can only apologize. I really am sorry." Jimmy consoled her.

"By the way lady, we choose the second package." Belsari said.

"Now's not the time for that Belsari. Can't you see that they've frightened the woman." Jimmy replied.

"Place the money on the desk and get out. We will renovate your ship within four hours and after that never come here again." The woman said.

"Ok we will, and yet again, I'm sorry."

Vaeg attempted talking to the woman before they left but was dragged out by a couple of the crew. After this they walked back to the ship, Jimmy doing his usual lecture on not traumatizing the villagers.

Once they arrived they split the remaining money between seven of the crew. Leroy and Jenkins were left out of the spoils because they joined after they had got the heads for the bounties, but they would be included the next time they cashed in. Each member got a massive amount of cash with the remaining money stored for food and water.

And thus the group split off to buy equipment and resources in the village.
