2 Part 2 - Is He Really A Doctor?

The forest was eerily silent. The moonlight barely illuminating the party's path. Barbosa pressed his finger to his lips and signalled to the others that there was a deer, prancing obliviously in a clearing.

"I kind of want to tame it, Mister Jimmy." Tim Tim whispered.

"You can't go taming every creature Tim Tim. If you tamed it, then what would we eat?" Jimmy whispered back.

"Ok, you have a point Mister Jimmy."

"You need to be quiet, otherwise it'll run off!" Barbosa whispered.

Barbosa then stepped on a twig. The deer looked around, panicked. Before it could take off, Jimmy threw his harpoon with pinpoint accuracy, straight into the deer's heart. It dropped dead instantly.

"We need to be quiet?" Jimmy replied sarcastically.

"I'm not gonna lie, that was not my finest moment." Barbosa said, a bit disappointed.

"We all make mistakes Mister Barbosa, don't worry." Tim Tim reassured him.

"Tim Tim, shouldn't you be acquainted with hunting?" Jimmy asked.

"I am, somewhat, but Ronin does most of that."

"Come to think of it, where is Ronin?" Jimmy asked.

Suddenly, two carcasses dropped in front of them. Ronin held his head proudly and then bounded towards Tim Tim expectantly. Tim Tim petted him affectionately whilst the other two stood shocked by the two cleanly killed deer dropped at their feet.

A scream sounded in the distance. Ronin marked an area of the clearing during which Jimmy pulled his harpoon out of the deer.

"Shall we go see what that was?" Jimmy asked, a gleam in his eyes.

They all sprinted in the direction of the disturbance. Just before they reached their destination, Barbosa signalled for them to stop.

"There are five guards up ahead and what seems to be one captive. Here's the plan I'll go through the trees and ambush them from above. You two attack from behind."

They all nodded in agreement, however, Ronin was a bit saddened by not being mentioned. Barbosa suddenly bit hard into his thumb and his blood audibly started pumping harder and faster. His veins rose to the surface of his skin and looked as though they would burst. Within a blink of an eye, he disappeared into the treetops.

"How well can you fight?" Jimmy asked.

"Pretty well but I only have long range weapons at the moment. I'm better close range but I can still shoot." Tim Tim replied.

"Good thing you have Ronin with you. Let's go!"

As they arrived, Barbosa flung himself out of the trees with tremendous speed. A pole appeared out of nowhere, and when he dropped between two of the captors, it extended with deadly force and collapsed them both instantly. The captive quickly grabbed the keys off of a guard and unshackled himself.

A harpoon whistled through the air and pierced another guard. Jimmy then ran up to him and ripped it out of him. During all this, the captive sauntered around, grabbing all his dropped gear, with not a care in the world. A guard tried to stop him, but tripped himself up. He grabbed onto the captive's ankle before the captive could walk off, and brought him down with desperation.

The last guard went to make a break for it, but Ronin towered over him, snarling viciously. Ronin then bit down hard on his shoulder. The guard screamed and tried wriggling free, but Tim Tim put an arrow through his heart with his short bow.

Meanwhile, the captive and a guard were tussling possession of a flintlock pistol. The captive head-butted him and laughed. The guard clutched his head, which led to the captive snatching the flintlock pistol. Immediately, he fired it, and the guard's head was splattered across the forest floor.

"Hey, are you alright?" Jimmy asked.

"Well done you imbeciles. I had them right where I wanted them and you bloody ruined it." The captive replied.

"Sorry, we were just trying to help Mister uh...."

"Doctor Vaeg D Octeurgh!" he snapped.

"Right... Mister Vaeg, did you want to join us where we're staying whilst we discuss what's wrong?" Tim Tim timidly asked.

"IT'S DOCTOR! I didn't do years of training, just to be called Mister. And I suppose I should go with you since you've all ruined my perfect plan." Vaeg angrily vented.

They all returned to the rest of the crew. To their surprise, the ship was coming along really well. The materials had already been gathered and Belsari was just about to go to work on the ship. However, she looked pretty worried.

"I am being the captain!" Vaeg shouted, standing on the materials for the boat.

"Hold on. One, who said you're part of the crew. Two, it's not even built yet." Jimmy replied hastily.

"It's called claiming what's rightfully mine, big nose. If you hadn't intervened my plan would've been perfectly executed."

"Hey! Leave my nose out of it and just so we're on the same page, you technically owe us, so no you can't be captain."

"It would be a shame to miss a few organs in the morning, wouldn't it?"

"Excuse me!?"

"You heard what I said. Interpret that as you will." Vaeg winked.

Tim Tim headed over to Belsari to see what was occupying her thoughts, "Hi Miss Belsari, what seems to be troubling you?"

She breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of the party returning.

"Everyone, please gather round the fire. I have something important to discuss."

Everyone, including Whatz D Face, who was now a bit more sober, gathered and Belsari explained.

"Whilst you three were gone, a marine lieutenant came by. His name was Dawn and he came with a couple of guards to ask us a few questions about these individuals." She handed out the bounty posters of Golden Tooth Ezekiel, worth 30,000,000 Beli and Barbosa, worth 10,000,000 Beli. She continued, "He also said he was offering an additional 10,000,000 Beli from his own pocket for someone named Doctor Vaeg D Octeurgh. Although, that offer seemed really suspicious and I doubt he'd pay for a bounty not officially approved."

Jimmy and Barbosa looked over to Vaeg, "What did you do to piss off a marine lieutenant?" they both asked.

"I swear it's nothing too serious. I only burned down their entire ship from the inside and stole their floating crow's nest."

Barbosa exclaimed, "I'm pretty sure that's serious you idiot."

"Did you just call me an idiot? I'd like to see you become a doctor, monkey man."

Jimmy interjected, "Now's not the time for fighting! Let's roast these deer and eat!"

Belsari started building the ship whilst Jimmy roasted the deer.

"How long will it fucking take? I'm fucking starving!" Nargo complained.

"I can't cook it any quicker Nargo." Jimmy sighed.

The bushes rustled in the distance, but no one paid any attention. Jimmy announced that the deer had finished cooking and everyone dug in to a deer stew, except Vaeg who had distanced himself.

"Belsari, you don't need to eat, do you?" Jimmy asked.

"No, because my implant gives me the necessary nutrients, but it doesn't mean I'm missing out on some quality food." She replied.

"Wow, you are fucking useful at something Jimmy boy!" Nargo shouted heartily.

Jimmy tucked into his meal, but lamented the fact he couldn't add salt to his dish. The very thought of salt not being on his food made Jimmy want to cry, but he ate regardless. Tim Tim tried to comfort Jimmy, but he couldn't be consoled. Vaeg had wandered off in a random direction to look for some 'real' food.

The night looked like it would end peacefully but a mighty voice appeared from the forest.

"I'M BORED BROTHER! CAN'T WE JUST GET THEM ALREADY!"

Another voice appeared, "Get down, or they'll see you. Never mind they already have."

A 12-foot man in wrestling gear stumbled onto the beach. His rock hard abs and flowing golden hair radiated magnificence and momentarily, everyone was stunned in awe. A slightly shorter 9-foot man walked behind the stunning man, furrowing his brow.

"Goddamn it Leroy, you should've stuck to the plan."

"JENKINS, LEARN TO LIVE MY BROTHER-IN-ARMS!" Leroy then turned his attention to the crew, "WE APOLOGISE IN ADVANCE BUT WE NEED YOUR HEADS INSECTS!"

Before charging Jimmy he yelled, "LEEEEERRRRROOOOOYYYYYY!"
