Chapter 30

　　With her up-to-knee white dress, Karella walked flawlessly towards me. Our maids guided her, but her eyes were on me. Because of that, I noticed the tiredness in her eyes, as though as she went into lots of sleepless nights to help herself.

　　These past few days, I heard news about her recovering. Many knew about the reason she experienced such things, but good things only few now hated because of that. Not that it mattered to me now.

　　“I have heard great things about you. I am glad to see you this way,” she started as she sat on the sofa. “I have been viewing your latest interviews with Xlyde, so I am inspired to change for good.”

　　I smiled at that. I was not good at talking with people. But every time I was with my husband, I would not notice that our interview was already done. Like what was happening now — I was with Karella. If before, parts of me were not comfortable with her, now that I was confident that Xlyde was beside me, words after words became available for me.
