4 Spirit Existence

I didn't know why did this happen to me? I am only an ordinary girl, but why something like this happened to me? After I woke up, everything change even without me knowing why. I didn't know why Mira looked at me with a brimming smile, and why I saw these bubbles on the air. I only walked near our mansion, and I suddenly met a strange creature like a hamster, but it can speak.

[Lia, My name is Yuki, and I am not a strange creature but a spirit.]

Yuki answered my question with a dissatisfied face. It is strange because I never tell him my name but why he already knows my name without me introducing myself. The most shocking thing was he even could read my mind. But wait a minute, why did he turn into a young boy? He or it was a hamster before.

[Lia, don't ignore me please, even though I can read your mind, but it is so lonely to talk alone like this.]

"Who are you?" I asked the young boy in front of me. When I stared at him, my heart skipped a beat. He is so handsome even though he is a spirit or something unknown. He has white fur before, but now its soft feather turned into short white hair with a pair of blue eyes. He looks cute.

[Lia, it is mannerless to ask my name when you already gave me one. I already said, please stop talking in your mind and speak to me directly.]

Yuki looked impatient every time I spoke in my mind even though he can read my mind.

[I will tell you once again that I am a spirit. Nice to meet you, Lia.]

After a while, I asked Yuki again with a cute voice, "What is spirit?"

Yuki was stunned to hear Lia's question because it was the first time he heard someone didn't know about spirit.

[You don't know about the spirit? Is that even real? Spirit is a different existence than a human. Spirit never die when human is weak & effortlessly pass away when they get hurt a little. Spirit has so much power within their body, so they can't use their power to hurt humans at all. Do you never learn about this, Lia? Are you an uneducated young girl? Or A commoner instead? How come a spirit tells about this knowledge to a human-like you?]

I nodded at Yuki's explanation. I never knew there was a spirit in my past life. Nothing like magic existed in the past, or maybe I was the only one who didn't know about it. But impossible that I didn't know anything. I never heard about this before, but now I couldn't totally believe that this world was not the same as the past.

"Can humans see the spirit, Yuki?" I asked Yuki, who looked at me with a brimming smile.

[Lia, I never saw a beautiful young lady like you before, where were you all this time?]

I tilted my head in confusion and answered, "What do you mean by asking me like that? I am always here in my mansion."

[No, you are not. Not every human can see the spirit, and humans can only see us without a hindrance when they have so much magical power. Humans who have a little magic power can't see the spirit if the spirit doesn't want to show their shape. It is only a powerful human that can look at the spirit's existence even without the spirit's permission. Some of the powerful humans even use our power to dominate a kingdom.]

"Dominate a kingdom? It is too terrifying." I shook my head in fear while I remembered the past life that I had to spend my life in a dark palace.

[I did tell you that we can not handily die, but we can die if we use our power too much. We have tremendous magic power, but you can't use it multiple times without stopping. When a spirit uses enormous power many times until his magic power runs out, then they use their life as a substitute for magic power. When they use their life as a substitute, then there is zero possibility they won't die after using it.]

"That is the reason why you were scared of me the first time we met?" I asked him again, and he nodded at my words.

[A human who has tremendous power usually has no heart anymore, and they only think about revenge or fame. They never thought about someone else feelings at all, and they never thought of us as living creatures. In their eyes, we are only a tool to gain his purpose. The spirit has enormous magic power, but they can't attack a human without their summoner permission, and so no spiritual creature can defy an OP human. It is not rare to see they sell spirits in the black market nowadays. No one can fight against a human with the spirit as their companion because that human can destroy a kingdom without lifting their own power.]

"It is too cruel, and I couldn't believe there is someone like that in this world," I said with a pair of mournful eyes.

[The person who has strong magic power capable of destroying an empire with his own power and ability to rebuild the kingdom into his own is the previous emperor, Warlord Evan Aurora. He is the crueler king, and he will use any method to get what he wanted. He conquered this kingdom with his OP power & he put all the spirit he wanted under his command.]

"That is our previous Emperor, and the crown prince is his son, Allen Even Aurora. The crown prince inherited the throne at the age of twenty years old, and no one knew about the previous emperor whereabouts.]

"...ss."

"Miss..."

Mira saw her young lady from afar and called out to her, but she didn't even answer her cal at all.
