"Without a raid team to back me up..."

Only the footsteps of a white haired youth echoed through out the abandoned bus terminal. There were multiple buses in a row on either side of him, either broken down or turned to their side.

"Man, this place is really creepy," Kim commented as he walked past the abandoned buses. It reminded him of one of those unnerving horror movies just before a jump scare. 'I hope there's no jump scare, I hate jump scares,' he thought to himself as he walked around aimlessly.

"What's that sound?" he questioned as he snapped his head towards the sharp sound he had heard. "A strong stench too. It must be Beast monster," he concluded and proven right when a orange feline figure made it's prescene known to the D-rank hunter.

[Iron clawed lnyx]

"A tiger!?" he exclamated as he ducked under a deadly swipe from the tiger's iron clawed paw. He immediately rolled to the right to avoid further damage and gain distance.

'Why is my body shaking? Am I scared? I thought I got over this! Was I just fooling myself!?' Kim thought as he stared down with fearsome predator.

'Is the trauma from that C-rank raid still holding me back subconsciously?' he continued to panic in his head, but he had to dodge out of the way soon or he would be mauled by the approaching beast.

He barely dodged out the way as he had his stomach sliced by the iron claws of the carnivorous monster. He then bent down on one knee and held his wounded belly as blood leaked profusely from the wound.

'I can't get hit like this again or it's game over!' he gritted his teeth together as he thought this. The tiger adjusted its position and then chased down the wounded hunter with its sharp teeth on full display.

'Take a deep breath and focus on the fight! Worry about what you can do right now! I'll deal with this wound later,' Kim hyped himself up as he back flipped over the tiger and used its back as platform to jump up to the roof of a bus in the vicinity.

"I'm glad I brought a few healing potions, but they aren't strong enough to seal the wound it will still stop the bleeding and reduce the pain," he said as he pulled out the potions from his backpack and drank the dark blue fuilds from the glass fulcrum.

'It's really inconvenient for me to not be able to store items not produced by the system into the item storage, but that doesn't matter,' he thought as he got up and got into a fighting stance ready to face the iron clawed tiger.

"I'm glad this wound on my belly will leave a scar, because it will signify the start of my journey to become 'the strongest'," he explained to the growling predator with a confident smile on his face and a resolute glint in his black eyes, as he looked down on the monster from his elavated position on top of the bus.

The orange tiger jumped up with its claws outstretched and ready to pounce on the lean framed hunter. Kim just waited for the monster to reach a certain before he unleashed a devastating round house kick right on the jaw of the beast, sending it flying into the windows of a bus to the left of him.

"Woah! I feel stronger than ever," he said in astonishment while looking at his right hand. He then turned his head to the direction of the tiger making its way out of the smashed up heavy vehicle with no damage.

'This thing is really durable to be able to brush off an attack like that,' he widened his eyes as he thought this, because he put nearly all his force into that kick.

He quickly jumped off the roof of the bus and ran towards the aggressive predator, he pulled out a dagger from his backpack as he easily dodged a swipe from the tiger and then nicked it with his dagger.

'Durable skin too...'

The tiger increased its speed and tried to catch Kim with a claw to the back, but was slowed down by an invisible force.

Kim smirked using that moment of opportunity to spin his body around and stab right into the head of the tiger, dragging his dagger right through its body, spraying blood all over the show as it was cleaved in half.

"I'm not afraid anymore... So bring it!" he yelled out as three more tigers appeared out from the shadows.

All three predators lunged at him as he backpedaled out of reach and then kick the mouth of one attacking him on the left. He got cut, on his shoulder, on the way to finishing off the stun locked tiger, grabbing it by the top of its mouth and with all his strength forcing it open so wide it he ripped the head clean of the body.

"Is that all you got!" his adrenaline fueling his speech while side kicking one tiger into the other, sending them both flying out in one direction. He immediately capitalized and threw his dagger right into the eye of one tiger, while socked the other one in the face.

The tiger with the dagger in its eye was howling in pain as Kim grabbed the dagger and then flipped to the tail end of tiger, dragging the dagger all the way through the monster.

It's blood spraying all over his slashed up jacket. "I don't know what I was so worried for, compared to that monster, you're nothing to me," the white haired hunter told the last remaining beast monster.

The yellow eyed glare of multiple other tigers were seen coming from behind the tiger facing Kim. He just smiled accepting the challenge of more opponents, as they lunged towards each other.
