49 Chapter 49 - Back To The Present

When Mi Young and Se Heon teleported back to the swamp, the others were already waiting for them.

Soo Young immediately ran up to them when she noticed that Mi Young was injured, carried by the raven haired boy.

"Oh my god! Come here!" The blue haired girl says as she lets Mi Young sit on a rock beside the swamp. "Where did you get these?"

"Long story. I'll tell you later just heal me first so we could tend to Medusa's injuries." Mi Young starts to say through gritted teeth. She can feel the pain of her wounds starting to crept all over her body and she knows she will pass out any time soon if she won't get any help.

Good thing Soo Young listened to her as she started to heal Mi Young's wounds using her magic.

After a while, the pain Mi Young was dealing with slowly vanished, until she felt nothing at all.

Se Heon whistled upon seeing the powerful healing ability of the blue haired girl, "You're small but you have so much potential."

"I told you, I'm not small!" Soo Young protests as she stomps her feet at Se Heon.

"Enough you two, Medusa needs us!" Hanabi interjects as she starts to prepare the needed materials for Medusa's recovery.

After their preparation, Soo Yung starts to mix the ingredients together so she could heal the savage beast.

She immediately gave Mi Young the finished product so she could let her savage beast drink it.

Mi Young walked towards where Medusa was lying as she slowly held the bowl on the savage beast's mouth.

"Drink this. You'll heal soon." Mi Young whispers. The savage beast, although she was already getting weak, used her remaining strength as she drank the potion that Soo Young made.

"Good. Let her rest for a while. After a few days she will start getting better." Soo Young whispers as she pats Mi Young at the back. "You did great."

After that, they let the Basilisk Dragon rest as they all went inside the blue haired girl's hut.

They immediately started sharing their experiences while getting the ingredients they needed.

Mi Young also didn't forget to include the curse that Vexanalla laid upon the whole Silent Forest.

"So you mean to say that the reason why I slept for a century is because some Dark Witch casted a spell on the whole forest?" Soo Young asks. There was a glint of hope in her eyes as she finally had some clue to why she had slept for a hundred years.

"I'm not saying that it's because of that but you can be one of the affected victims after she cursed all the giants."

"You're right. But thank you for telling me." Soo Young says with a grateful smile.

"So...now that you have something to take you guys back to your own timeline, are you guys gonna go?" Hanabi asks. Her voice cracked for a few seconds, an indication that she was about to cry, but she clears her throat so no one can notice.

"I think so."

"We need to get home already. Our presence here might cause a great disturbance to the timeline so we need to get out of here before something bad happens." Se Heon explains. He looks at Mi Young who had a small smile on her face.

"Maybe we can see each other once more?"

The blue haired girl lets out a sarcastic laugh, "When? When I get wrinkles and die?"

"Hey! You're making it sound like we're too old!"

"I am more than centuries old, idiot!" The blue haired girl retorts.

Mi Young just laughs at their bickering moment. She will surely miss the two girls even though they just spent two days with one another.

She stands up as she thanks Soo Young and Hanabi for all the help they did.

"It's nothing. You saved me from those goblins so healing your beast is nothing." Soo Young says.

"She's right. You also helped me find someone other than my family so I am also really grateful for that." Hanabi says as he holds Mi Young's hands together. "I hope you won't forget about us even if you go back to your own timeline."

"Don't worry, I won't." Mi Young says as she gives Hanabi a hug.

Then she turns to the blue haired girl to ask for a huge as well.

Soo Young rejected her hug at first but when Mi Young stopped asking for a hug, the blue haired girl ran up to her and engulfed her in a bear hug. "I will miss you."

"I will miss you as well."

They said their goodbyes one more time before Mi Young and Se Heon steps out from the hut, the two girls following behind them.

Mi Young ran up to the sleeping Basilisk Dragon as she whispers to her ears, "See you in the present, Medusa."

However, before Mi Young and Se Heon finally leaves, Soo Young stops them as she runs to her hut to retrieve something.

When she gets back, she gives Mi Young a notebook to which the other girl accepts but not before asking what's written inside.

"It's full of healing techniques I managed to learn. Use it since you need to heal yourself 'cause you're a huge troublemaker." Soo Young jokes out. Mi Young's answer was a laugh before she thanks the girl once more.

After that, Mi Young stands up beside Se Heon as they start to vanish in front of Hanabi and Soo Young, who are waving at them with teary eyes.

"Let's go home."

And together, Mi Young and Se Heon traveled from the past and back to their own timeline.
