14 My Beloved Bride!

Arghhh!....

Being in the confusion, my focus was lost and I was injured in my right hand.

I turned around and stroked my sword against the attackers' neck splashing a pool of blood.

Without wasting another moment I ran towards him and undid his knot which prevented his movement. Then both of us immediately rushed towards the exit.

On the way, I stumbled and fell down.

I lost my consciousness.....everything went blank.

I heard feeble noises when I tried to open my eyes. When I was awake I saw them...

Those piercing blue eyes!

I was terrified when I saw his robe full of blood. Out of concern, I asked him

"Are you hurt?" to which he replied that was my blood. He was there beside me looking after my injured arm.

Ho! I sighed in relief.

"You are so naive!"- He said in a low tone but I heard him.

"Excuse me? what do you mean?" -I inquired him.

"I said you are so naive! You believed everything that he said and even kissed him."-I widened my eyes in surprise.

"How come you know about that?"

"Cause I was right there... two steps away from you when he abducted you"

"Then why didn't you do anything after knowing he lives in the dungeon secretly?"

"Zoha, He is a prisoner, of course, he will be living there!"

"Are you kidding me? No..no..no I can't believe this! What did he ever do to you?

Why are you doing this to your own brother?"

"Zoha!"- He got angry.

"Zoha, You are the Queen to be of two kingdoms. How can you jump to conclusions?"-He spoke.

"Okay, I'll tell you the whole truth! See, When he came to know about me being the crown prince...He poisoned our mother then he made his Majesty trip and fall which caused his head to hit hard on the ground resulting in memory loss. If you don't believe me, I'll take you to my mother who survived one of his vicious plans!" -He said clearly out in the air.

Hearing this my tears broke out running down my cheek...

"But he didn't do anything to me... and he said he loves me!" - I cried pitifully.

"The one to whom he did injustice the most is you, Zoha"-He hugged me trying to share my pain.

"Huh?"

"What do you think about your parents' death? ...

It wasn't an accident, Zoha... He was the one behind it!" - He tightened his arms around me so that I could place my head comfortably in his chest.

"Why did he hurt them?"-I sobbed while being in his chest.

"Because he never wanted me to have the crown. When your parents and siblings came to discuss the marriage he got to know that my ties would be strengthened if we get married, therefore he planned the whole thing to take you away from me and make you hate me. So that he could take both the crowns! "- He slowly explained.

"If you don't trust me, then ask Zola... She would tell you that she didn't come here with your marriage proposal because you were already engaged to me ..."-He said with a smile.

"Engaged?" -I was dumbfounded.

"Yes! We were already engaged in our childhood and we were going to be married within 3 days...My Beloved Bride" - He kissed my forehead.
