5 Jealousy reincarnated

After a couple of hard-working days Diana, Sierra and I planned to meet after work. We went to some nearby cafe. 

While we were sitting and chilling Diana's boyfriend Shanky called her and asked her to meet. 

Diana asked as if we were comfortable meeting him. Neither of us seemed to object about joining him with us. 

In a few minutes, he arrived. He was quite tall and had a fair complexion. He had short hair showing his hygienic side. 

Diana told me not to tell Sierra that Shanky was his boyfriend. Diana seemed to be very private about her things.

Diana was my friend so I kept it as her secret. Sierra was a fun-loving person so she flirted with Shanky unaware of the fact that he was Diana's guy.

Diana didn't seem to be bothered about her flirting with him. And I was pretty cool with everything because I knew Sierra's naughty side. 

It was all a healthy flirt. So we all were cool. We had fun. Before leaving we decided to click photographs for the memory.

I insisted on clicking their photographs because I don't like to get clicked. While I was clicking Sierra sat in between Shanky and Diana.

I laughed in my mind knowing Diana wouldn't like it. It was quite fun not telling Sierra about the fact. Yet I wanted to tell Sierra about the reality but couldn't.

It wasn't my matter to get involved in something like that. As long as we all were kidding around it was good and healthy. 

That day we added Sierra in Diana, Shanky and my group chat. For days, Sierra kept on flirting with him in front of all three of us.

I found it a bit awkward. Sierra was flirting with Shanky I understood because she didn't know anything. But I failed to understand why Shanky was flirting with her continuously.

Although I did express my feelings to anyone because I didn't want to create any misunderstanding.

We four started having video calls often. We started hanging out altogether. After a couple of days, Diana started acting weird. Neither she received our video calls nor she wanted to hang out with us.

One day I asked her to meet me alone after working hours. I asked, "Diana, why aren't you meeting us? Why don't you receive our video call? Is it because of Sierra?"

"I don't know. I am just not comfortable. I don't have any issues with you," she answered.

"Don't tell me that you are insecure about Sierra?" I asked her directly. 

"It's not about insecurity but she keeps on flirting with Shanky. Once it's fine but she's too much," she blurted out her feelings. 

"Then why don't you tell her the reality and I am sure after knowing the reality she will stop. Why are you two playing this stupid game?" I requested her.

"No, you know I am very private when it comes to my personal life," she refused to tell the reality to Sierra.

"Ohkay! That's fine. But at least you can tell Shanky to stop flirting. I mean Sierra's flirting I understand because she doesn't know a thing. But what about him? And also you should stop talking to Abraham. I don't understand you two," I became a bit angry.

"Shanky is not flirting with her. She's the one who's continuously texting him and he doesn't even reply to her and about Abraham what's wrong with that?" She showed me proof while showing me the screenshots.

"Alright fine. I will tell her not to talk to Shanky. But why are you talking to Abraham when you already have a boyfriend. Does Shanky know about it?" I cross-questioned her. 

"No, are you crazy. He doesn't know about him. And don't you even tell me. I am just having a healthy flirt with Abraham. And about Sierra don't tell her to stop flirting and all. It's quite fun," she insisted.

"Woah! I seriously don't understand you guys. How can you play with them? That's great! If you guys flirt that's healthy flirting and if they are flirting then they are wrong at their places. You guys are wrong. Either stop all these dramas or else I will tell them the reality," I warned her. 

I continued, "And I can see that you are jealous of Sierra. If you are insecure then stop all this already. You guys are wrong, not them. They both are innocent so stop playing with their hearts. And what if Abraham gets serious?"

"Neither I am jealous nor I am insecure. You just don't say anything to them," she told me to be mute.

"I won't. But make sure you stop this crap soon or else I will tell them," I still gave her a warning.

A few moments later she switched the topic. I failed to understand why she was playing that game. I thought she had a pure heart that's why I was being good to her all these years but now I started doubting her.

After she left I called Shanky. We met in the same place. "Hey," he arrived.

"Hello, what's up?" I did the formalities. 

We chatted a bit about different things. I came to the point, "What's going on? Why are you flirting with Sierra when you already love Diana?"

"No, No I am not flirting with Naomi. She just keeps texting me and I ignored her most of the time. You can check my cell phone," he also showed me the proof. 

Still, I didn't get it. I mean Sierra cannot lie about it. I advised him, "Please talk to Diana and please convince her that we should tell the reality to Sierra." 

He agreed, "Yes you are right. That's what I have been telling her but she doesn't listen to me. Even I am feeling uncomfortable."

I was happy that he understood what I was trying to say, unlike Diana. A few days later both Shanky and I kept on convincing Diana but she refused. 

I failed to understand what was going on in her mind. If she's jealous and insecure then at least she should admit and correct her mistakes.

Why was she acting proud? Most of the time neither I understand her nor trust her. But I never said this to her otherwise she would be hurt and I can't just hurt her. 

Finally, the monsoon season was about to end. Sierra told me to meet her as she wanted to discuss something serious. 

She told me that she wanted to meet me personally that's why I didn't invite others like always. Diana didn't have any friends except for one or two. 

The main reason I introduced Diana to Sierra so that they could be friends. Because of my busy schedule, I wanted them to be friends. It was my sole reason for introducing friends to each other.

This time I thought it won't be good to call other friends so I went out alone to meet Sierra. As usual, Abraham dropped her at my place.

This was for the first time I invited her to my place. I don't know but I was excited to meet her, especially alone. I cleaned my entire apartment.

Usually when my friends visit me neither I clean my apartment nor I change my outfit. Most of the time I meet my friends in my PJs.

But that very day, I woke up early although I never woke up early. Afterwards, I cleaned every corner of my apartment.

Sierra liked pasta and noodles so I cooked pasta and noodles for her. I also prepared drinks. She told me that she would bring alcohol so I cleaned the glasses. 

For the first time, for her, I even changed my outfit. I wore the sky blue denim jeans paired with a skin coloured tank top. I even wore matching earrings. 

I still remembered, she wore a long light green top touching her knees. It was embroidered, I guess it had chicken curry work, it just looked beautiful on her.

Her top gave an Indian touch. Like Indians wear Kurtas. She paired her top with the denim along with cool white foot wares. 

She made a puff with her hair which gave her a cute look. Her earrings looked perfect in her attire. 

As soon as she arrived I was more than happy. I couldn't stop smiling. We hugged each other as soon as we saw each other. Our happiness was on the same level may be because our frequencies matched. 

We have been dying to meet each other all alone.
