11 Butterflies in the stomach

Gradually, Abraham and I started texting. I noticed that he was comfortable talking with me.

I have waited for Sierra's call. Daily after work, I wondered whether she fixed the date or not.

I so wanted to ask her but I didn't mean to be a burden on her. I didn't want to be cheesy and selfish like other girls.

I decided not to ask Sierra either about Abraham too much or to force her to set a date with him.

Although I liked Abraham like crazy, I didn't want to spoil it with Sierra. She was a wonderful friend and I didn't mean to lose her at any cost.

I tried to maintain balance so that in the future things won't get bad among the three of us.

Days after days, I waited early for Sierra's call. I didn't know when I would meet Abraham but deep down I knew I would get a chance many chances to meet him.

I had high hopes and I was highly optimistic. On one fine evening, I received a call from Sierra.

She called me to confirm that she has already fixed a date for me. Both Sierra and I wanted things to work out naturally so we planned to meet within two days.

We didn't want to seem suspicious to Abraham so I told Sierra that I would bring one of my friends so that it seemed like a normal hangout meeting.

Luckily, she agreed with me. After hanging up her phone call I became freaking excited. I jumped in the air and shouted like a crazy person.

Thank God my family didn't hear me. I had to do some household chores. While doing so I was continuously smiling and I was extremely happy.

My mom noticed me and asked me if something nice happened to me or what. But I had to lie and I told her that I am enjoying my life.

She did ask me back whether I had a boyfriend. I was stunned to notice her instincts. My eyes were wide open when she said that.

Of course, I had to lie but I was amazed that she sensed it. Freaking intuitions!

It was almost night and I was not able to sleep at all. I kept on imagining things. I couldn't believe I would get a chance to meet him.

I didn't know what to say to him. I didn't know whether we would have a similar topic or topic of our interest to speak about.

Soon my excitement converted into nervousness. It was almost midnight and still, I wasn't able to sleep at all.

I guess it was almost one at night and I stood up suddenly. I started checking my cupboard. I didn't know what I would wear when I met Abraham.

While I was checking out my outfit, I saw myself in the mirror and blushed like crazy. I had butterflies in my stomach.

I never felt like this before. I never got this excited for someone in my entire life. I started jumping in the air and played some nice music.

Later, I started dancing with excitement. I didn't know when I fell asleep. I think I slept late at night because the next morning I was not able to wake up easily.

I was sleepy and tired. The next day, at work I met Sierra and we planned when we would meet. I mean at what time we would meet.

I had only one day left to get myself ready. After office, I rushed home and started checking out the outfit which I would wear the next day.

Thank God it was the weekend so I won't be stressed about my work and timings. I would have the whole day to chill and spend a good time with him.

Usually, I don't like to dress up. I was a bit of a tomboy kind of a girl. No matter how much effort I put into my dressing and style, people still call me a tomboy girl.

I have never considered myself a tomboy type of a girl. I never liked it when someone said that to me. Just because I don't like to dress up all the time doesn't mean I think like a boy.

Anyway, what can I do when people still don't get it. So I decided to wear a white shirt paired with distressed blue denim.

I even wore big earrings. I barely wear earrings but thanks to Sierra she motivated me to dress up using accessories.

I even wore rings. I wore dark maroon footwear which went pretty well with my outfit.

It was the day. I'm already dressed up. The hardest part for me is to manage my hair. My hair was fluffy and because I don't manage my hair well I don't look sophisticated.

But that very day. I managed my hair pretty well. I wondered if Abraham would notice my efforts or not. Although we met many times briefly after office, I didn't know if he would have noticed me before or not.

One of my childhood friends named Vicky joined me. She was much younger than me. Vicky and I became friends because of our families.

Vicky was a teenager. At first, I decided to bring one of my colleagues but I didn't want to involve her in my personal life so I invited Vicky.

She was more of a younger sister to me. She knew almost everything about me. I have treated her like my own kid since she was born. I was excited to show him, Abraham.

She knew that I liked him a lot and she was pretty excited to meet him. I wondered if she liked him as I do.

It was almost time, Vicky and I got ready to meet Sierra and Abraham. Vicky wore a translucent white shirt through which her briefs were visible.

She paired her shirt with skinny jeans along with nude pencil heels. We were all set to go.
