2 02| Hiding Behind A Wall

~𝗦𝗢𝗛𝗢𝗞𝗨 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗕𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕~

"Kinjou, how are the new members looking?" The ace sprinter of the bicycle club asked their captain as he now started to drink from his water bottle.

The captain named, Kinjou spoke after a few silence passed. "One seems decent but..." Kinjou trailed off catching the other members attention.

"But?" Asked Sohoku's ace climber that had long green hair and red streaks on his hair. The first that asked Kinjou a question who was the ace sprinter also agreed with the ace climber with a questioned look "Hmm?"

The members watched their captain adjust his glasses while saying, "I wish we had another card."

~~𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘁𝗮𝗸𝘂𝘀~~

The raven haired boy and the (H/C) haired boy stared at the note in front of the club room with disbelief.

"Due to lack of members, the anime and manga club's activities have been suspended. If you would like to restart the club, gather at least five members and contact the advisor."  Onoda read for the both of them. Onoda dropped his guide notebook and started screaming and punching the door like he was in jail asking "Why!?" the note, as he banged the door. (M/N) also feels the same way as Onoda, but didn't show because he thought it was a little inappropriate to do so. So (M/N) tried to calm Onoda down by patting his back, since he can't speak.

"In middle school, no one around me talked about anime... During the three school years, I never once revealed that I was a fan of anime... And now in high school I actually found someone who also like animes.. but I thought I would find more people to talk about anime and manga with.!!" Onoda who thought he was only thinking this in his head because he was in shock and despair was actually saying this out loud, enough for the other Otaku to hear. (M/N) wrote something on his post-It notebook and showed it to the raven who was now apparently already have tears in his eyes. Onoda ignored his tears and looked at what the male wanted to say to him.

"𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚢, 𝙾𝚗𝚘𝚍𝚊-𝚔𝚞𝚗.. 𝙸'𝚟𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚘𝚘"

Onoda then looked at the (H/C) haired boy. He saw (M/N)'s eyes slightly closed indicating that he was smiling at the boy. Onoda wiped his tears and nodded with a smile now with hope. But then the raven realized what (M/N) meant by what he wrote. Onoda's face quickly became flustered and panic rushing in.

"W-Wha.!! D-Did I said t-that.. o-out l-loud.!???!" The raven asked, stuttering his face still in a panic and flustered. (M/N) find his reaction adorable and nodded in response still smiling under the mask. Onoda's face turned bright red from embarrassment. (M/N) Silently giggled at Onoda's cute reaction again.

(M/N) wrote something down on his post-It notebook again. But before he could show it to Onoda what he wrote, two girls were walking down the hall at the same time, the girls then stopped by the two boys looking at them.

"Huh? What's that?" One of the girls asked, it was the girl with short light brown hair. The girl with longer hair that's colored dark brown read the 'Note on the former clubs door'. "The Anime club room?" She asked and her companion opened the guide notebook she had saying, "It's in the Guide, but I heard it got shot down.." The long haired girl hummed in response.

Onoda's ear perked up at their conversation. The raven haired boy quickly turned to the two females; he initially asks them both if they want to rekindle the anime club saying, "OH! You guys want to join too.!!? It's such a shame!! RIGHT!? Let's gather members a-and open it back Up.!!" (M/N) sweat dropped at Onoda's actions, feeling a bit embarrassed at what he did.

(M/N) looked at the two female who were totally confused at Onoda. the (H/C) haired boy sighed and decided to help the two girls. He wrote something down on a new page since he needs to tell Onoda to stop to what looks like harassment from some people to see. (M/N) tapped Onoda's shoulder which made the said male look at him stopping at his rumbling. (M/N) showed Onoda what he wrote for him the two girls also curious took some peeks,

"𝙾𝚗𝚘𝚍𝚊-𝚔𝚞𝚗 𝙸 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢'𝚛𝚎 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚕𝚞𝚋, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝚢𝚘𝚞'𝚛𝚎 𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖"

After Onoda read that he apologized at the two girls then confirmed if they really weren't interested in the 'Anime Club' like him and (M/N) was.

"O-Oh, you're not going to join..?" He asked. The long haired girl nodded her head, yes.

"Well, she's going to be joining the tennis club.." The long haired girl trailed off, smiling as she gestured to what looks like her friend. "And I want to join the bicycle racing club." She then gestured to her self finishing her reply to Onoda's question.

The raven's face quickly fell to the side. 𝑆𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑠 𝐶𝑙𝑢𝑏𝑠... He thought to himself.

"T-That is totally different..." the raven said feeling drained. (M/N) pat the ravens back in a comforting way. the two females eyes now looked at (M/N), the (H/C) haired boy turned to them and smiled under the mask his eyes were slightly closed indicating he was making a closed eyed smile. He waved his other hand at the two girls a gesture of saying, 'Hello'. The long dark brown haired girl smiled and waved back, while the short haired girl looked at me confused.

"Why isn't he talking?" The brunette asked Onoda pointing at me. Onoda snapped out of his disappointment look and looked at the girl then to me.

"O-Oh, Um.. t-that is..." He looked at me I looked at him and nodded, saying it's alright. The two brunettes looked puzzled. "U-Um.. T-That's because (L-L/N)-kun i-is mute.." Onoda explained. (M/N) Nodded saying, it's true. Which helped cleared the two girls puzzled looks. And which had the two gave (M/N) a gentle look.

The warm atmosphere was broken when Onoda suddenly gasp. (M/N) turned to the other male and blink tilting his head, asking why he did that.

"I-I need to go to Akihabara.!" Onoda said, as he remembered that he was suppose to buy the latest anime figurine that he wants today.

𝐴𝑘𝑖ℎ𝑎𝑏𝑎𝑟𝑎... 𝐴ℎ! 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑡𝑜𝑜!! 𝐼 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑢𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑒 𝑘𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑦 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑝ℎ𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠!! (M/N) thought eyes sparkling at the thought of him having that Item.

(M/N) quickly wrote that he was coming along with Onoda. He showed it to him and Onoda's eyes quickly sparkled with happiness and nodded with a big smile plastered across his face. (M/N) and Onoda unknowingly hugged each other from the Happiness they both felt, completely forgetting the two girls that was still there.

"Hey Miki..." The short haired girl whispers to the long haired girl. The other nodded with her usual smile. "Yeah?" the long haired girl, now known as Miki asked. "Even you can see that that's gay right?" She asked and purposely said it loud enough for the two males to hear. "Yup, definable Aya!" Miki unintentionally agreed. The two males face started to heat up at the girls statement. (M/N) and Onoda quickly let go of each other. Onoda's red cheeks were completely visible to the girls view, but luckily

(M/N)'s wasn't, because he was wearing a mask to cover some of the red hue on his cheeks.

(M/N) then realized that he left his wallet under his desk, so the boy quickly wrote that down to tell Onoda about it.

"𝚄𝚖, 𝙾𝚗𝚘𝚍𝚊-𝚔𝚞𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚐𝚘 𝚍𝚘𝚠𝚗 𝚊𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚍, 𝙸 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝙸 𝚕𝚎𝚏𝚝 𝚖𝚢 𝚠𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚝 𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚢 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚔"

"O-Oh, Okay!" Onoda replied and (M/N) walked towards the said room, "class 4" After (M/N) found his wallet he saw Onoda's wallet also under Onoda's desk. (Their desk are next to each other) The (H/C) haired boy sweat dropped that Onoda's wallet was also left under his desk. (M/N) grabbed both Onoda's and his own wallet and put them in his bag.

When the (H/C) haired boy exited the classroom he heard some noise ahead of him. He saw three girls and a tall guy, with black raven hair like Onoda's. (M/N) saw that his eyes were a purple-blue color. The masked boy watched the scene, but he was a bit far at some corner, behind the wall so that they wouldn't notice him. He looked at the tall boy's face and he finds it a bit familiar to him, but couldn't really put his finger on it.

"U-Um..! Excuse me!" A girl with braided hair called out for the walking boy. The boy stopped in front of the girl and stared at her. The girls face was blushing a dark red color.

𝐼𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑎 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑓𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛? (M/N) in the corner thought to himself as he listens further.

"You're Imaizumi, from Ichiba Third Middle School, right?" The girl asked the guy, but Imaizumi didn't respond instead just stared down at the blushing girl in front of him.

"W-We were never in the same c-class though.." The girl continued while fiddling with her fingers. Imaizumi on the other hand, was still staring at the girl, but then his eyes attention was caught by the

(H/C) haired boy who was hiding in the corner of the wall from the scene.

(M/N) flinched at the sudden shift of Imaizumi's eyes to him. (M/N) started to hide more tying to hide his whole body at the wall. If some of the students saw him they'll think he's crazy or just stupid.

The tall raven started to walk slowly towards where the boy was, now ignoring the girl that was still talking to him.

"Please, wait! I-I went to see your last r-race!" The brunette stated, but Imaizumi continued to ignore her and continued his walk towards the hiding masked boy at the corner. "I-It's a shame you came second. Y-You were so closed to winning!" The girl tried to grab Imaizumi's attention, but didn't. She was only able to grab his thoughts.

𝑌𝑒𝑎ℎ, 𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑... 𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑜𝑎𝑑 𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑠! Imaizumi replied to the girl, but only in his mind.

The girls decided to leave Imaizumi alone and said to themselves that, 'there wasn't any hope'.

Imaizumi stopped in front of the masked boy below him that was scotching down, his legs were being hugged by his arms and his head was resting on his knees.

"Oi." Imaizumi called for (M/N), but the said male didn't respond instead slowly looked up at Imaizumi. (M/N)'s (E/C) orbs met Imaizumi's purple-blue ones. The two stared at each other for a moment until Imaizumi finally broke it by asking a question,

"Why were you hiding?" He asked bluntly. Which in response (M/N) panics a bit, but quickly remembered he was prepared so he showed him the note that he already wrote before Imaizumi went to him, when Imaizumi was still listening to brunette girl. Imaizumi looked at (M/N) confused and surprised by the sudden note, but read it anyways.

"𝙸'𝚖 𝚜𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢, 𝙸 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚏𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚘𝚗 𝚜𝚘 𝙸 𝚑𝚒𝚍 𝚋𝚎𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚊𝚕𝚕, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝙸 𝚐𝚞𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚜𝚗'𝚝 𝚜𝚘... 𝚄𝚑 𝚢𝚎𝚊𝚑, 𝚜𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢"

After Imaizumi read (M/N)'s note. He looked at the boy. "It's okay." Imaizumi said to the (H/C) haired boy. (M/N) looked up at him again, his eyes slightly closed meaning he was smiling at him. Even though Imaizumi didn't see (M/N)'s real smile, he understood and also gave a small grin in return. After a few minutes (M/N) felt a little awkward so He started to write down something on another page of the post-It notebook,

"𝙼𝚢 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝙰𝚔𝚒𝚋𝚊, 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛!"

(M/N) finally escaped the awkward atmosphere around them, when he quickly scattered away from the tall male.

~𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀~

(M/N) returns Onoda's wallet to him with his usual closed eyed smile. Onoda was both panicking and thanking (M/N) for bringing Onoda his wallet that he thought he didn't forgot to bring with him, but actually forgot. Onoda kept thanking (M/N) at the two boys started to walk with their bikes to the schools back gate that was 2km. The two boys didn't noticed the tall raven that was in his cycling suit with his road racing bike also going to where they were going. Imaizumi aslo not noticing the two just continued walking with his bike.

The three lined up together, still not realizing they were there.

"Okay!" -Onoda

"Okay!" -Imaizumi

*Nods!* - (M/N)

ᔕIᒪᗴᑎᑕᗴ ~

The two boys looked at the tall raven and the raven looked at Onoda who was beside him, (M/N) was at the end, his small figure was being covered by Onoda's slightly just slightly bigger form beside him. So Imaizumi didn't saw the masked boy yet.

"Who are you?" The startled Imaizumi asked Onoda. Onoda turned his head to Imaizumi and smiled.

"I'm Onoda. I'm a freshman from Class four! Sakamichi, Onoda!" Onoda enthusiastically said.

"Sakamichi?" Imaizumi repeated to Onoda's given name, which in return getting a nod from Onoda as he continued from the nod explaining what his given name means, "It means slope! My parents named me that saying it'd make me strong against adversity, but.."

Onoda then remembered that (M/N) was there so he decided to introduce him to Imaizumi, but the small raven haired boy didn't know that the two are already familiar with each other, but the problem was that Imaizumi didn't know what the (H/C) haired boy's name is yet.

"And this is (L/N), (M/N), He's also a freshman and in class four like me!" Onoda explained for (M/N) and moved back a bit to give Imaizumi a look at what (M/N) looked like. Imaizumi's eyes slightly widened at the sight of (M/N).
