The first chapters can be confusing. Some people understand it easily some others get really lost. It's not you, it's the book haha. Keep reading and feel free to ask any question I will do my best to answer.
As stated in the synopsis this novel is a testament to my progress as a writer. From scratch to this day.
1. WHAT IS A GAG NOVEL?
The premise of the story is ridiculous, it makes fun of everything even itself and it is meant to be entertaining above all.
2. DOES THAT MEAN THERE IS NO STORY?
There is a story and it is amazing, but it will definitely take a while before it is fully uncovered and it will always remain one that places humor above all. Do note that there are readers that did cry reading this novel already, it is not 100% just fun. It has some deeper moments too.
3. WHY IS THE WRITING STYLE SO UNIQUE?
It might take some readers a while to adapt but I have both a very minimalist style with not much description and also a random way to pass from one idea to another. Just go with it and enjoy the ride. It will not be a wonder of literature, far from it, but it will remain entertaining.
4. IS IT TRUE YOU INCLUDE MEMES IN YOUR NOVEL?!
Yes. I do many references to plenty of stuff. It is part of my writing style. If you don't get a reference check comments, if no one commented about it you can always ask. Early chapters most are pointed out.
5. WHY ARE YOU STILL WRITING THIS NOVEL EVEN WITH HOW BADLY IT STARTED?!
I believe in the story I am writing and I currently have fans that love my work. They are but a few at the moment but their support motivates me to keep writing.
6. WHY DO PEOPLE SAY YOU ARE A MAD WRITER?
I started writing full-time even before my novels showed any hint of success. I believe in my story. I believe I can create something great that will be extremely ridiculous yet leave a lasting impression on readers. However, I believe I need to put in the work if I want to succeed. Thus I started investing so much of my effort into something everyone (except my readers) was telling me was doomed. That in itself is a mad move and dedication.
7. I HEARD YOU DO NOT WRITE THAT YOU SHITPOST?
The DAO of shitposting is eternal! I am often joking about that. Writing sounds so formal. I am a shitposter. I share some of my really weird ideas with people to entertain them. It comes out as so weird that the expected initial reaction is something along the lines of WTF is that shit?! Hence the shitposting.
8. ARE YOU A TROLL?
I enjoy having fun. I feel like anything can and should be joked about. Even the darkest stuff. However! I will always do my best not to hurt anyone. In that aspect, I am a big fan of south park. You shouldn't take any of my jokes seriously either.
9. WHY AND WHEN DID YOU START WRITING?
It is covered in chapter 100. You'll read it at some point.
10. WHAT IS YOUR RELEASE RATE?
For the next 5 months, I plan to write 6 chapters a day. Afterward, I will reconsider everything. Hopefully, I won't forget to edit this here. If you guys are seeing the 3 chaps a day release on TUG and wondering what I am smoking, well I started a new novel for Spirity.
(I will be writing both at the same time, expect more news later on)
11. IS THIS NOVEL HAREM?
Not especially, but there are many female leads. The reason is simple, this will be a long novel. Circumstances will change. MC is not governed by his dick, however. If you guys want to read smut we have some authors on the discord that write some.
12. WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE DISCORD?
Because if you are reading this you are awesome. There will be other awesome peeps there waiting for you. Expect lots of weirdness and fun. Novel / Gaming / Anime mostly ...but you can talk about whatever you want. Your day, your pet goldfish, your pet rock, anything.
13. IS THE MC A GOD?
Who knows...all will be revealed in time. He doesn't know himself. He came in this world as a failed summon.
14. WHERE ARE ALL THE GODS!
They will appear slowly, very slowly. One reveal at a time. The story is already fun as is. The more the story progresses the more mythical creatures and divine beings will appear. Yes, there is a reason. Just read to learn it.
15. WHY DOESN'T THE MC HAVE A NAME?!
He doesn't remember it. Some readers took a long while to even realize it. It even makes the story better.
16. IS IT TRUE THAT YOU TAKE CAMEO REQUESTS?
Yes, that would be accurate. Join the discord and there is a cameo request channel there. If you want to see a certain type of character / a specific reference in the novel ask for it there and I might just put it in (at some point when I find it fits well in the story).
17. IS IT TRUE THE WHOLE NOVEL IS ALREADY FULLY PLANNED?
Nope, these are rumors. I know how the novel will end. I also have the main plot points already planned and the key characters. As for what happens for each chapter that depends on my mood. I will make it entertaining at least and somewhat original! I mean I am mad so it kinda happens by itself. MUHAHAHAHA
18. WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR BAD MARKETING PLAN?!
You know how most authors will do like 2 chaps a day and bonus chaps for reaching goals. Well, right now I am giving you guys all that I can. It is incredibly dumb and stupid on my part. The good news is that it gives you guys plenty to read ;)
19. WHY WOULD PEOPLE GIVE SPIRIT STONES TO ZOMBIE?
Because they enjoy the novel. Because right now being a part of this is giving life to something that is insane. I want to make it into a novel that will be a parody of all the other novels in existence. For that, I will rely on you guys to tell me what you want to read about (Everything I write will have my goofy and over-the-top style be warned haha). Right now is the opportunity to be part of something amazing and always developing. I am mad I know this for a fact...and I want you guys to be part of this madness of mine every single step of the way! When it all comes to an end you guys will be able to proudly declare: I was there when that epic...thing (whatever it is) started!
