16 Chapter 16 - Rogues Part 2

I felt sorry for the King, whose right now, feeling the embarrassment due to his hard member that is still visible, when Grace approached me in my bedroom. I saw her smirk a little at him and nodded as he walk away from us.

"Ahhhhh" Grace squeaked at me enthusiastically, and I know the reason why, she might thought that something had happened to us,

"Oh my, you naughty little girl, what have you and the King done? huh ? tell me...tell me... tell me... please" she pleaded as she push the door by her foot to close it and ran towards me like a little girl who is excited to see a new toy, I am still gaining my composure from back then and give her a small smile.

"Well, if you hadn't interrupted us, something might have happen. Unfortunately, no..." I told her as I walk toward the bathroom.

"I needed a bath, Im full of sweats and dirt today after we ran through the woods" I added as I walk in and closes the door behind me, leaving her rolling at the bed because of excitement. Wow, I cant believe that my best friend is more excited than I am. After I cleaned myself, I saw Grace, sat up at the bed, smiling so wide like she had won a lucky ticket for unlimited travelling around the universe.

"So, care to tell your best girl about you two? what happened?" she finally ask, unable to refrain herself due to her own excitement.

"We had a best date, for the first time in my life, like, he's so unique and awesome. All through out the day, my mind is filled with lustful thoughts about him, except for the fact that you intervened a moment ago" I jokingly state the last part, and she just snort about it.

"So, why are you here, by the way?" I ask her, as I crawl on the bed dressed with my set of pajamas.

"Well, I'm here to check on you, since you've been gone for the whole day, and I missed you because of that. I cant believe that your date with the King will consumes a whole day you know, I just thought it might take a four or five hours. "

" This is one of the tiring yet amazing whole day that I had, since I've been here, being with him is just so comforting, like time could stop when we are together" I stretch both of my arms, laying my back to the soft mattress. "So, is that all?"

"Yes !!! Urgh, I should've not knock a while ago and just waited to hear some moaning or screaming from the both of you, well, I guess I see you tomorrow in our training then ? " I chuckled at her reaction, as she walk towards the door of my bedroom and give me a naughty smile before closing the door.

" Have a goodnight, hope you have a lustful dream tonight " She added and winked before finally disappear by the closing door.

I giggled at her last words, I cant believe that despite of having a serious partner she have like Andrew, she still acts cheerful and childish sometimes. "Well, it is best to have a friend like her, to lift up some mood after an embarrassing night" Tas, my wolf calmly rebuked my thoughts about Grace.

"Yeah, you're right" I said to her in my mind, ever since I came here, I knew a lot of people, but among them, only Grace that I consider a best friend.

After a while, my mind flash backed the event today, especially the moment we had with the King, kissing me passionately. With these deep thoughts, it put me to sleep.

"Come on Reina, keep it up, you know you're better than dodging, try to attack too ! " Valencio, one of the best fighter, is training me today together with Grace, they want to test my speed and critical thinking to fight with more than one opponent.

"One thing I learned from my father, is that attacking without planning is like digging your own grave" I said to them as I lowered my body to dodge Grace's kicking movements aiming for my head, I rolled to the ground and swing my other foot aiming for her left one, hoping to put her down. But she quickly jumps to avoid it. I immediately stand up and shield my face with both of my hands as I see Valencio trying to punch me directly to the face. Wow, these two are sure enjoying beating me up.

We continue our combat fighting, defending and attacking, until I heard a slams on the ground, I saw that the King was punched hard to his face by his own beta who's smiling victoriously seeing that he beaten the King. I heard Grace and Valencio, gasped a little, not believing what they had just see.

"Wow, for the very first time, Josh finally able to punch the King in the face during a training like this." I heard Grace said to Valencio who's just shaking his head and responded,

"I think he just got lucky, since you know, the King...might..have just been distracted...a little", saying those words with looks pointing at me.

"Is the King distracted because I am here?" I said to myself. "Maybe he's been looking at us today, making his opponent take the opportunity of the moment" Tas responded.

I am about to respond to what she said when suddenly one of the royal patrol shouted at us,

"Your Highness, rogues spotted at the south border, patrols are coming to check it !" one of the patrol shouted at us as I saw the King is about to walk towards me, but due to what I heard, my mood changed, I was furious at the sound of it.

"Rogues? finally, after all these days" I said with gritted teeth to Tas in my mind.

"Calm down Rey, we dont know if they are the same as the one who attacked us before"

I crumpled the water bottle I am holding during the break a while ago, frozen from what I have heard, I was snap out from my deep thoughts when Derek smiles at me while tapping my shoulder.

"It'll be fine, sweetie" he said, and I nodded at him, "Warriors, prepare for engage, you... go to the west side border, some to the east, others to the north, the rest of you follow me to the south"...he looked at me with concern but he knew that I wont back down now, "If you want to fight with us, you can...but please be safe, if not, you can go to the pack safe house together with others..and-"

"No ! I will not hide nor run today, I had enough of that, I have been training for these past weeks, it is time to show them..." I cut him before he finished his sentence,

Derek nodded and look at us, with Grace, Valencio, James (Valencio's brother, who is currently training as well with us), and other warriors, Andrew and Joshua led the others to the other part of the border as per the King's order.

We shifted and ran to the woods, Wow, Derek's wolf is now serious and fast, I need to keep up my pace with them, is Derek been just nice when we ran before in our date? I thought Tas was faster that time. Not only him but the others as well. We silently running through the woods right now, when a rogue jumps at us out of the bushes that brought me to reality, I am about to claw to it, when,

"Too slow pup, remember your training..!" Valencio said, who happened to be nearer from the enemy, he clawed the face of the rogue, leaving its head turn to an awkward manner.

When we arrived at the border, we saw some of the patrol already fighting, some were bathe in blood and others were lifeless lying on the ground, both rogues and royal guards. Derek and the others start fighting to whoever they encounter.

I, however, notice some of the rogues standing outside the territorial border, grinning at me, what the heck? that nasty little filth smiling at me like that? what does he want? I move forward towards it and start fighting with him.

"Who are you?! and what do you want?!" I growled at him, he just continue to grin at me as he avoided my attack and seems to be backing up a little farther, from the scene where Derek and the others are fighting within the territorial border, I am about to charge in to him, "No Rey, wait, observe and listen carefully to your area, it is a bit odd, he seems to lead you farther from the King's border", Tas in her serious tone.

"Hesitating, pup? or just scared to fight?"

Ah, he finally talks.

"Come on, let see if you could kill me, with that confidence of yours, or maybe you're just afraid like...your father...a weakling" he added, and from that latter part, I move towards him without thinking and jumps at him, aiming for his neck, when suddenly someone from behind him jump at me leaving me stance at a moment, knowing that this someone is not a rogue, but some one I loved dearly before,

"papa?" my eyes grew wide, jaw drop at the ground, not believing to what I am seeing, my father, eyes so cold and are lifeless, he smelled rotten yet still have his big size, gritting its teeth towards me as I was still looking at him in my disbelief, knees shaking knowing that how could I ever fight with someone who I was hoping to be alive for these past weeks?

"papa!" I shouted at him, but he seemed to not recognize me, he charge at me, canines attached deeply to one of my shoulder, as I scream not because of pain, but because it is my father hurting me, for I know that he would never ever do that to his precious daughter or any of our pack member, what happened to him? what happened to everybody at our pack?
