"Hey, you know we only have a few days till school starts" Sam said and Lily just looked at him with a blank expression.

We were currently sitting in my living room watching Netflix and eating ice cream and Sam just randomly said that which made me thing about school. I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realize that the two have started to argue until Sam shook me.

"Hey you ok muffin" Sam said with a look on his face that says 'bitch what you thinking about'

"Yes am good, just thinking about school" I said which made lily push Sam. He just looked at her and muttered a whatever.

"Miya" Lily called out "hmm" I replied with a hum

"What are you doing on Friday night" she asked and i instantly though about Perish

"I'mgoingonadatewithperish" i whispered. I didn't think she would understand what I said but she did and she screamed so loud that I thought my ears would burst.

"OMG ME TWO" I looked at her in confusion she's going on a date with him two how?

" Your going on a date with Perish?" I asked and she just looked at like I was crazy.

"What no am going on a date with Max this Friday" she said an I looked at her with an 'oh' expression.

"Why don't you both help each other with getting dressed" Sam popped in and if he haven't said anything I would have forgotten that he was there.

"Oh my got that's a great idea Sam, we should really do that. What do you say Miya" Lily said in a sing song voice and I knew there's no way out.

"Sure why not" i said and she jumped up and down like she just got what she wished for on her birthday.

"Sam what are you doing on Friday night?" I asked knowing he was just going to sit home and stuff his face with food.

"I-um I'm" he stammered I looked at him an I knew something was wrong.

"Hey you ok big boy?" I asked putting my hand on his shoulder. He looked at me with a smile but it didn't reach his eyes like they always did.

"I'm fine, am just going to go home am really tired" he said and now I knew for sure that something was wrong. He stud up and was about to walk out but I called out for him

"Sam!" He turned around to face me i and I smiled at him which he returned to the both of us.

"Text me when you get home yeah?" He chuckled at walked back to me and kissed my forehead.

"Will do muffin, love you" he said and I kissed his cheek.

"Love you too big boy" I said and he walked to lily and kissed her two and they both exchanged love you's and he was on his way

***Friday evening***

"Am done your turn" Lilly came out of the bathroom from my room in only a towel around her body and hair she looked me up and down to see that I already took a shower.

"Am done" I sung and she just rolled her eyes at me

"What are you going to wear she asked and I showed her my dress that I picked out while she was in the toilet.

It was a little black dress that was off the shoulder. From the back it reached my knees but on the front it was shorter and was above my knees, the top was like a body suit until it reached my waist then it flows out.

"No way" Lily looked at me dumbfound like it was just the most ridicules thing she's ever seen.

"Is it that bad?" I asked thinking the dress wasn't good enough.

"What no it's just... look" she said and pointed at the black bag on the bed that had her dress in it. She slowly took it out and it was the exact same dress that I had.

"We should match everything hair, makeup and shoes" I said and she put her thumbs up in approval

*** 1 hour and a half later***

It was now currently 6:55pm and we were all dressed Lily texted Max and told her that he should pick her up at my house we were both in the kitchen with my mom talking and we heard the door knock.

"I'll get it" mom said and Lily looked at me with a big smile on her face. Mom came back and smiled at us.

"Ladies your gentlemen are here for you" she said grabbing our hands and pulling us out the kitchen to the front door. I saw Perish and couldn't hold back my smile.

He looked amazingly gorgeous his hair was sleeked back and he was wearing a white crisp button up shirt with black shoes, black slacks and a suit jacket.

"Where's Max" Lily asked and I didn't even notice that he wasn't there.

"Am here" he came out of no where with a big smile on his face his eyes looked around and they stopped at my mom.

" Luna?" He asked breathless with a pained expression on his face and he looked at her before he walked close. His eyes became glossy.

"Maxie" she said and he wrapped his arms around her and she hugged him tightly.

"Your here, your ok, your alive" he said trying to keep back his tears from spilling.

"I am" she whispered to him and he hugged her again.

"Ok Maxie that's enough hugging there's a beautiful lady waiting for you" she smiled and he chuckled.

"I'll be back soon Hayley" he said in a promising tone.

"And I'll be waiting my little Maxie" she said before pushing him out the door and shutting it in our faces

"So let's get this date shit on the road baby" Perish cheered and we all looked at him and he just gave us a boyish grin before we all bursted out into laughter.
