The House

He was the only one who knew why. Standing in the room, In which the body of his last friend died. He was looking idle at him lying on the ground. As if he was sleeping. He did not know where the hair ends as well as the blood begins. All that surrounded his head was a dark aura that made his white skin look paler.

The somber clock makes a monotonous sound in the background of the silent scene.

In separate rooms, the rest of his friends were lying dead with the same fate. And every time, a small part of his mind went away. But here he is. He has reached the end. He might have been the only one alive, but something shattered forever inside of him.

Drops of a dark liquid flowed from between his fingers and fell on the ground monotonously, and the young man was still silent.

Why? Perhaps the reason was known to him, Or not. But that does not help him in any way in preventing the emotional outburst that he feels. He is no longer able to determine how he feels at this moment. For a while, he convinced himself that he was feeling nothing.

But this false conviction did not last for more than two seconds. Which is the time it took him to remember the last words, his friend said to him, coupled with a soft smile. And he immediately, just as a dam of papers collapsed in front of a torrential flood. The young man fell on his knees, clenching his face with both hands.

The explosion has come, the worst kind ever. It is that blast that no one hears.

Which key will open the locks with which we have held our feelings?

«I have a plan, a big one.

I will build you a house.

Every brick is a tear, and you will not be able to get out.

Yes, I will build you a small house.

Without doors, without windows.

Inside it is dark, and Lights will not bother you.

Yes, I will build you a house.

And you will spend the rest of your life in it. »

"Aai"

Hmmm? Aai? It is an intruder to the song. It had taken several seconds before the young man realized. What he heard was not that song lyrics echoing loudly into the blue headphones . His hand hurried to pull the speaker out.

"What were you saying?"

"Will you ever stop being a child?"She asked.

A loud voice interrupted him with a barrage of words:

"Damn you and your satanic songs! I am thinking of presenting you as a case worthy of study in scientific research centers. As far as I know, there are no recorded precedents for people who lived with brains that turned into an omelet because of the loud voice!"

He unleashed a short breath, followed by taking out the lollipop that was in his mouth, then said in a sighed voice as he stroked his lips,

"I can't believe how insensitive you are... You cut the good part of the song on me."

"Is that the only thing that bothered you ?! I called you an omelet with a brain!,"She replied.

"Well... you always describe yourself as beautiful. None of your descriptions were true."

"Oh...!!"

He did not hear the rest. As he brought both the headphones and the candy back to where they were before, smiling mischievously. He was enjoying his time despite that feeling. Burning gazes of Janet behind him, but she quickly stepped past him and angrily overtook him, delivering a raging slap on the back of his head.

Although he was about to swallow the whole candy because of the slap, he found himself smiling happily. He contemplates the angry girl in front of him. The dark blond hair falls on her back. With her mad brown eyes, She looks at him in frustration from time to time. He missed her a lot. That he had not the opportunity to spend time with her for months. It was great to take a break from work and have fun with his (though few) friends. He was grateful to Henry for setting the stage for such an opportunity.

As if Henry was reading his thoughts, he walked beside him. Their looks somewhat funny due to the height difference between them, Ethan was short. Next to Henry, who pulled out Ethan's headphones in a light, fast motion.

"What a fool you are! She looks about to explode. It's safest for you to turn back for your safety." Henry said.

"No, let me be astonished because here is the victim!"

Ethan muttered this before he took the candy out of his mouth. And continued, "I have done nothing! Except for telling her that her dress reminds me of my grandmother. Do you expect this to be the cause of her anger?"

"What I expect is that you are a fool. I doubt your grandmother is wearing a red dress and carrying a bag decorated with ribbons," he added. "In general, we are about to arrive. It is behind this curve."

The two young men continued their leisurely walk along the dirt road surrounded by grass. And the features of the big house began to become clear to them as they approached it. Ethan peeked at his friend, who walked by as he pushed his chestnut hair back away from his calm green eyes. He is a cousin of Janet. There was a spectrum of similarities in their features.

It's strange. On a sunny day, there was no wind. But despite that Ethan found himself feeling strange. Why does he have such an urgent feeling that he has forgotten something? Had he forgotten to feed the cats before he went out? Maybe he didn't charge his cell phone? The idea horrified him, so he raised his device in front of him to check the battery level. He breathed a sigh of relief when he found that it was almost full, reassuring him that he was carrying a portable charger anyway.

But that feeling did not stop.
