4 Can Destiny Really Be This Strange

'I am built from every mistake I have ever made

Unknown

As time went by, FireStorm couldn't wait to hear his name being called. He had to get Storm's attention even if it's the last thing he did. he had to be in Storm's gang one way or another. Yes, he did seek revenge on WildFire but the only person that could get him there was Jake Storm himself. There was a rumour he was in a High School looking for Wildfire, but who could trust that, he had never made contact with him, unless he disguises himself.

Have you ever wondered what life has done to the good people, the reason is that we have to suffer and yet still we're the only ones with the cure for the pain? It's like when you get hurt, you fall, the ground hurts you yet you're the one applying balm for relief, or if someone breaks your heart, but here you are yet again, the only one trying to put back the pieces only for someone else to come along and break those already damaged pieces, again.

They say they will fix you and that broken heart, yet if it wasn't healed you wouldn't give that person a chance, the only thing broken is your expectations, that's why it leads to disappointment every time someone leaves, because you had hoped it would last, you hoped they would stay.

He never hoped for anything more than to find out his purpose, it seems to be the biggest fight in his heart, he wanted more from life, Yes! Like everyone else he too dreamt of finding that special someone, falling in love, getting married and having the family he always dreamt of, but with a fire burning so strong in his soul, he'd extinguish anything that touches him and who could love someone with a soul full of darkness, one as black as ash?

Do people love the darkness in your soul or the mystery behind your smile?

Do they look in your eyes because of the beauty of it or because of the pain visible in it?

But, if everyone were to be born or be perfect, then no-one would be made for each other right? We'd be perfect for everyone and then, where is the love if no-one appreciates your flaws and falls in love with it?

"You're up next FireStorm. Let's get this shit over and done with please", Derek smiled. He had known him practically from the time they were in diapers. They have been through so much together that this would not be possible without him.

He had trained him to be the renowned fighter that he is today, which is why he is Firestorm's coach, best friend and role model, three in one, but most importantly he is his hero, he seemed to be the balance he needed in his life, Derek was the only one who knew what he wanted to accomplish and Derek was more than willing to put his life on the line for him, even though at times he can be a little over excessive.

Okay! Maybe a lot excessive.

He didn't know where life was going to take him, as he got up from the ground he was sitting on, he looked at Derek and smiled at him gratefully, his phone vibrated as he retrieved it, opening it up a bewildered expression crossed his face, before a smirk formed as he handed it over to Derek, the same expression quickly forming into a smile between the both of them.

It was the passion for the fight that got him here and it was the fire that burned in his heart that invoked the revenge he had against Wildfire. The arena was big as he slumped under the thick ropes to enter, he didn't wait for the announcer to call out his name and people knew that he wasn't a very patient person.

He waited for his competitor to enter the arena and a man caught his eye. The same fire that was burning in Firestorm's eyes were burning in his too, black ripped jeans with chain's hanging on the left of his side, a black shirt tucked gently in his pants with green chucks that brought out his entire outfit, piercing blue oceanic eyes, it clearly screamed destruction, a smile tugging on his lips, one that had so much of untold stories waiting to be heard, it held pain yet so much of mystery, it was as if he was embracing his darkness for he knew somewhere light was just a second away.

Their eyes connected, and being the guy that he was returned Jakes smile with a smirk. He knew it then and there that he was now staring eye to eye, with none other than Jake Storm.

The man he'd been looking for - for the past 3 years. The reason he followed him into the high school. Everything about him screamed death, but to die at such hands, God forbid he can take him any day, can life be so kind as to grant death by the person they love?

Jake watched Firestorm make his way to the arena, he didn't get what was so good about this man, he looked more like a woman, small and frail, but he had heard that dynamite comes in small packages.

Is it possible to be completely fascinated and disappointed at the same time? Something about this fighter caught his eyes and he just continued to stare, anticipating.

Yet, all he did was smirk, like he found the person he was looking for, the cockiness in his eyes gave him away, but those eyes, a sense of familiarity sets in as he gazes into them, shocked. No! he knew he had seen those eyes before.

"Can Destiny really be this strange?", he whispered to himself.

Could that be her? No that's quite impossible. Jake looked up at him with utter disbelief in his eyes. He was sure he didn't recognise him as Jace, because he had always disguised himself. But what if his suspicions are true and the person up in that arena is her, what then?

Somehow he had to prove it more to himself than anyone else.

The fight had started before he could comprehend anything, punches were being throw and kicks where flying through the air. FireStorm had Blake, who was the competitor in a neck hold, Blake struggled to get Firestorm off him, in the process, Blake pushed FireStorm against the rope rather harshly and fast that in order to get balance FireStorm had to release Blake and hold onto the ropes, there was venom is his eyes, and a look of fury flashed in him, before anything FireStorm punched Blake across his jaw with so much force, sending him flying through the air and on the ground, his breathing was heavy as he looked down at the now unconscious Blake.

"Damn, he took Blake out in one fucking punch! Shit...", Alex's mouth was agape in shock and Jake had a bewildered expression on his face. FireStorm had won the fight, his manager who Jake had heard was called Derek gave him a side glance, a smirk forming evidently on his face. "Alex, I think we just found the newest member of our gang!", and Alex nodded, a knowing smile tugging his lips.
