Afraid and Anxious

When I entered my room, I was shocked to see my mom with the most famous make up artist which is Krisha. Only a few can book her and I wonder how my mom was able to get her.

"Sweetie, this is Krisha and she will do your hair and make up. She is a good one and I will leave you in her care. I should go down now and greet some guest," mother said and left the room hurriedly.

"Krisha, how nice of you to come here," I said.

"Of course! Your mother offered me thrice the amount of what I earn outside the organization," She said and dollar signs can be seen in her eyes.

"You're greedy! You have enough money and where will you use them?" I ask curiosly.

"Duhhh who doesn't need and and want more money? Only hypocites would say they don't. Now sit down and let me do what I'm here for," she said.

Her assistant helped her organized her materials and after an hour and a half, she's done fixing my hair and make up.

"Viola, now open your eyes," she said and when I opened them, I now believe that I can be more beautiful. She make me look like an innocent and demure woman with my hair but my aura is radiating more. She did a light make up but my smokey eyes seems to be hiding a deep dark secret.

"You never disappoint me," I said with a satisfied smile.

"Of course! I may be greedy but my work screams its worth," she said full of pride in her job.

"Thank you Krisha. The party will start in a few minutes, can you help me wear my dress?" I asked.

"Duhhhh! A boss don't ask so you just need to command me," she said sassily and I chuckled.

She helped me wear an elegant black dress paired with a diamond necklace. The dress hugs my body perfectly and everytime I moved, the dress will sway showing more sexiness.

"Akira, just how beautiful do you need to be this evening?" Krisha ask in awe.

"I don't know but I am somewhat anxious and afraid," I admitted.

"Jeezzz, Akira relax. I've known you as a confident woman in everything you do," she said.

"I'm trying to relax but do you know that this party's guests are prominent figures?" I said.

"Yes," she said and her eyes went wide as if she realized something.

" He's going to be here for sure," I confirmed her thoughts.

"That bastard! Why does it have to be him?" She asked angrily.

"He will know my real identity and all I need to do is be careful on what I say and how I act," I said.

"You need to. He doesn't deserve any single detail about Noah," she said and disgust is clear in her eyes.

"You're right," I said.

"But you know what Akira?" she asked.

"What?" I said.

"I'm curious on how he would look if he finds out that you're actually a heiress. Would he regret leaving you and telling you those harsh words? Would he try to win you back or what?" she said dreamily.

"Stop that nonsense," I scolded and glared at her.

"Oh come on. You were happy with him before that you even want to blow your cover for him. You looked like a fool smiling when talking about him but look at what he did as soon as you told him you're pregnant," she said as if rubbing me my past mistakes and I can't blame her.

"I know and I've learned my mistakes from it. I will not repeat the same mistakes before," I said.

We were exchanging word when a knock was heard from the door.

"Come in," I said and a maid enter.

"Miss, your mother asked me to fetch you. The party is about to start," she said.

"Ok, let's go. See you at the HQ Krisha.Oh, Rose is spending time with Noah at home and you can go their if you want to," I said.

"No thanks!" she said and I left the room.
