Chapter 1

"Dad wake up you'll be late for your work again"

A cute loli with long silky black hair, a small pointy horn, and a third eyes on her forehead shouted while busy cooking in the kitchen.

Listening to that strange yet not strange voice Fahad opening his dark black eyes looking to unfamiliar ceiling a rush of headache come to him. He tried his hardest to contain it however the pain was killing him he tried to not voice his pain but a shout escaped his mouth.

"Ahhhhhhhh"

Although the voice was muffled it didn't escape his cute daughter ears.

"Dad what happens! Are you OK?"

A hurried footstep heard then with a bang Fahad bedroom door flung open and a cute loli with a worried face rush to her father's side.

Fahad looking to the almost crying loli for some strange reason felt a bang in his hart as if he does not want to let the little loli face any hardships.

H e tried to smile to reassure her but the smile was uglier than crying due to the pain which makes his little loli worry even more.

His head almost burst open and he wishes if he can blackout to avoid it even if that meant death however before blacking out another memory appeared in his head then he blackout.

- 10 hours earlier -

"Ah.. finally I hacked this complex system, I didn't expect it to be more difficult to hack than NASA! Now let me copy all the data I can found to my PC before I lose the connection"

After some more clicks here and there a bar of downloading progress begins.

"Damn, It's slow as hell," he thought.

He knows it'll be slow because he did not copy the data directly from the server to his PC. Fahad used VPN connection a technique used by many hackers and Internet users to cover their tracks which is a service that allows you to connect to the Internet via an encrypted tunnel. It ensures the privacy of the user and protects his sensitive data however it's still slowing the network traffic flow.

He moves the mouse checking the file size, to his dismay, it's 150 GB only. it's similar to a regular movie size! It's not that big!!

"The problem isn't the size of the file but this lousy Internet!"

Although he knows it'll be slow he couldn't stop grumbling. After that Fahad decides to find something to eat.

Moving from his comfy chair he walks through the messy darkroom grabbing the nearest pants to wear then walks straight out of his room to the kitchen.

"ohohoho.. see who is out of his room!" his mother Sarah said with some sarcasm in her tone.

"Mom I only refuse to marry her, don't make it as a big problem"

Looking to his mother's sore face he can only say that bitterly. He knows that his mother only wants what good for him to let him find a soul mate and to see her grandchildren.

"Fahad, You already 38 years old! You should find someone to marry soon.. ah just forget it, are you hungry? Let me cook something for you".

"No need, I'll eat dates with milk"

Opening the refrigerator door Fahad takes the dates and milk moving his hand to the next shelf taking a cup then return to his room waiting for the file downloading to finish while enjoying the food.

"Finally.."

Fahad breathed a sigh of relief. This wasn't the most known organization he successfully hacked but it was the most complex and tiring one!

Removing all fingerprints left and closing the backdoor he created on the server to makes sure no one can track him back. This one of the traits of any successful hacker to be as stealthy as possible.

Clicking on the file 'z' which is the name of the file where the exfiltrated data located he opens it. browsing the exfiltrated data and read whatever he finds interesting is the pinnacle of happiness for him.

"Curiosity and challenges are the color of life"

This has always been his motto.

Checking on the list of data in 'z' file he found:

"Ummmm... Interesting. We seem to have a good harvest!"

The email one is the biggest so he lefts last. Clicking on the archive one (source.zip) it's asking him for a password which he doesn't have so he passes it to the next file which is a text file (Hello World.txt). This sentence very familiar to any programmer because usually it's the first program for any beginner.

Opening the text file it contains the following:

Day 62:

I and my friend Ahmed get the first chapter of "The soul book". There are many rumors in our circle that saying "anyone wants to know the truth of the soul should read the soul book by Death".

Day 67:

There is some strange practice in the book which Ahmed think it's Interesting! I think this is a troll book without any substantial meaning behind it.

Day 72:

Ahmed told me he didn't sleep for the last 5 days after practicing what is in the book. And he didn't feel the need to sleep. Interesting... I didn't believe it. I should try it.

Day 74:

I feel energized as if I'm in my 20's! it's the real deal!!

….

"it seems a diary… although it's interesting it's clearly nothing but a fiction."

scrolling to the last page.

Day 1927:

Today was the 16th time I ate a young soul and the feeling of sin almost did not exist. They contribute to my soul advancement which a noble goal for a weak soul of the first level.

Day 1934:

My institution published another service on our website to determine the soul level of an individual. These foolish mortals take this service as a game and didn't know that they provide me with data about food!

"What a dark diary… whoever writes it is a madman!

even though he thinks so. He couldn't contain his curiosity to read this book. He started by reading the first chapter (The soul book chapter 1.epub). Within 4 hours he finishes reading the first and second chapters (The soul book chapter 2.docx).

"Ummmm… despite the small size of the chapters it takes me a lot of time to read because it was written in old Arabic"

After reading the book Fahad didn't understand most of the book. It's as if the book speaks about a specie different from human!

In spite of this Fahad found 2 sets of practice. One in each chapter. The first chapter was titled as Soul access and it's speaking about how can you see your soul. The second chapter was titled Soul Travel and talks about how the soul came to be in your body and how you can occupy another body.

Sitting on his bed Fahad starts to practice...
