111 The Broadcast

It was a day like no other. Multiple people were walking around the city streets, and dozens of digital billboards line the tallest buildings. However, that changed in seconds, starting with a teenage boy's phone. Looking straight down at the screen, the video playing suddenly froze. "What? No, it was just getting to the good part!" Yelling at his phone screen, the same thing began to happen to a multitude of other people.

Billboard's advertisements stop scrolling before fading to black, and multiple people stopped walking while grumbling to themselves. "What the hell is happening." One of the citizens looked around. "I don't know if it says I have five bars, but I can't connect to anything." Multiple people began talking to one another until suddenly all their screens turned to the same video at once.

Scenes like this were happening in cities across the country. "Can you all see me clearly?" Shen, who was standing on a tall cliff edge, had his back facing the forest along with the video focusing on him. "Wait, I recognize that outfit." One of the citizen's face's turned fearful. "Isn't he part of that group? What is he doing on our phones?"

After not speaking for a second, Shen smiled. "Well, whatever I'll just assume you can all see me. And don't bother trying to talk to me. I can't hear you, and I don't care." Making that clear, things were a lot more chaotic at UA. "How the hell did he get on TV?" Looking at Shen on the large monitor, Aizawa along with the other teachers in the room, had a bad feeling.

"I want him tracked down immediately! And cut this broadcast!" The police representative who was watching Shen live yelled. However, the other officers didn't know what to do. There was nothing to track every phone, and TV was seemingly working fine from a technological standpoint.

"Oh, and if you're wondering where I am, I've got a surprise for you." With a swift turn of his hand, the device recording him turned around thanks to his telekinesis. The new frame showed a location everyone was familiar with. "Hosu City…" Looking at the empty plot of land where a city used to stand, the citizen's watching felt a chill.

Though everyone knew what happened to the city, they couldn't get close to it or observe it. The Police Force feared Shen would drop the city the moment a large number of people were allowed to enter the scene. "Wait a second wasn't that place blocked off? Heroes and police officers were guarding the perimeter 24/7..."

It was while in the midst of talking that the citizen's voice died down as the answer became obvious. "Now then, allow me to state the situation." Clasping his hands together, Shen came into view. "What I did to Hosu City was more of a demonstration, and nowhere near the level of destruction, we can cause. Even now, I could have wiped out at least four cities off the face of the earth with a single gesture."

Hearing Shen, everyone's nerves were put on edge. If he hadn't already destroyed a city before, they would have thought it was a large scale boast. "So with all that in mind, what could I possibly want? I mean, just the threat of destroying four cities is enough to get me as much money or power as I want."

Shen wasn't pulling this stuff out of thin air. He did have clones with enough Ki in their body's to destroy a city just a lot more than four. Putting on a more serious expression, Shen continued. "In all honesty, killing all of you would bring me more immediate results. Your so-called heroes aren't strong enough to save you after all if I hadn't made that clear after cutting off All Might's arm."

Letting that slip on purpose, Shen could already imagine what UA was going through at this very moment. "And of course, all the villain's hiding in the shadow's won't be an issue either." Shen made it a point to stare at the people behind their screens for a moment. "But I've decided to give you all a fair shot. Me and my strongest servants will stay right here in the area where Hosu City once stood. In the time frame of two months, you can either may peace with yourselves or have everyone strong enough to fight and gather here in that period."

Holding out his right hand in front of him, Shen formed a glowing red orb resembling a sun. "If you manage to beat me, then I'll leave. All of you can go back to living your lives or plotting your stupidly convoluted strategies to take over the world and whatnot. But if no one shows up or the people that do show up lose, well…"

Grinning to himself, Shen raised his right arm towards a nearby mountain in the distance. Everyone watched in suspense. Shen fired the red orb, which caused a massive shockwave to blowback his clothes and air. Flying over the forest, the orb quickly turned into a red spark in the distance before hitting its target.

Expanding thousand's of times over the orb swallowed the mountain whole. It was only seconds after the explosion that the sound finally reached Shen shaking the very ground he was standing on and creating ferocious winds in the process. As the blast continued to cause its devastation, Shen turned back to the device.

"So let that linger in your minds so you can forget about any sense of pride or honor you have about not going to certain lengths to survive." Giving them a cruel smile, Shen was prepared to shut off the broadcast there until he stopped himself. "Oh, and don't take that attack as a warning but a threat. If all of you want to tuck your tails between your legs and run, then that's fine. But I promise you will be the first ones to die even if we have to do it the long and hard way."

With that, Shen cut the broadcast, causing everyone's devices to go back to normal. Music videos and what not began playing again; however, no one enjoyed it. They felt like a bottomless pit had just opened up in their chest. Never before had so many people all at once felt the fear of death looming over them like this. Something so unstoppable and inevitable.

Meanwhile, Shen felt pretty good with his performance as he looked in front of him. "So, how do you guys think I did?" Rukia, Urahara, and Midoriya were all standing there the entire time, although Rukia and Urahara were going to be invisible to ordinary people no matter what Shen had to physically hide Midoirya since he wasn't technically a Soul Reaper or a Hollow.

"That was so intense…" Midoriya was the first one to say anything and spoke out with a shine of amazement in his eyes. "I think it was well done Master Shen, though you could have taken it a little more seriously." Pointing out all the times Shen almost ended up telling a joke, Urahara couldn't help it. Rukia simply nodded in agreement.

Hearing their opinions, Shen shook his head and turned away from the two of them. "I thought you would have definitely said something about it." Although Shen was testing loyalty built on Midoriya's weakness, Shen was prepared to control him with sorcery at any moment. But he didn't have to, and Midoriya seemed not to care about anything he said during his talk to the world.

"Huh? Oh, well…" Rubbing the back of his head, Midoriya smiled. "Well, honestly, I believe what you're doing is going to change the world for the better. Once you conquer this world like the last one, every country will be under a unified rule. There won't be a need for any heroes or villains in a world like that. It will be a lot more peaceful, don't you think?"

Hearing what Midoriya thought, Shen couldn't help but laugh inside his head. Despite how Midoriya phrased it, he was just making it sound better than it was. Since he now idolized Shen to such a degree, he simply liked the idea of him being in control. It was a twisted way of thinking about it, but it suited him just fine.

Brushing that fact off, the timer had been set. Now it was up to the world of MHA to take its course. Everyone could choose to ignore his message or put their differences aside. Either way, it was going to be a fun finale before things went back to the nit and gritty. However, as chipper as Shen was, the world was in a panic like no other.

It couldn't be considered a simple riot but a full-blown, countrywide panic. Even though Shen's message only spread to surrounding cities, the news was quickly passed on. It was insanity even more so than when he suddenly attacked the Bleach universe. In all honesty, who wouldn't go crazy in this situation. They were given a death sentence in three months if people didn't step up to face this threat.

Inside the UA meeting room, no one could speak. The school was let out early for obvious reasons, and no one had any clue what to do. "We…" Nemuri was about to speak but stopped herself realizing she didn't know what to say. "Evacuating is useless, and with him revealing All Might's condition, everyone won't have a symbol to rely on. If this continues, we can forget about the three months, everything will fall apart before that."

A woman's voice came out, a person wearing a costume resembling a spacesuit. "So, what are you suggesting, that we do nothing?" Looking towards thirteen, Aizawa narrowed his eyes. It was then that Nezu cut in. "Of course not, but at this point, I'm afraid this is getting out of hand and out of our control. There may really be no way out of this."

Listening to Nezu say that, all the heroes in the room went silent. "You're right, we can't do anything, but that doesn't mean we don't have hope." Looking towards the entrance of the meeting room, All Might was standing there in his deflated form with one of his arms missing and wrapped in bandages.

Elsewhere someone else was coming to the same conclusion as All Might was. "He's taken this a lot farther than I thought he would…" A deep voice with a slight reverb spoke. "If this continues, then Tomura won't have a chance to grow. Rushing things like this won't be very efficient; however, at this point, it looks like we have no choice, do we?."

Wearing his signature suit and mask, All For One stood up from his chair before walking out of the dimly lit room.
