3 Chapter 2: Decision

" I choose..." Sandra thought about what she was about to do and so she made up her mind.

" to become Damien's life partner." she released slowly.

There was a silence before

"EXCELLENT, now that you have decided we can carry now as I was saying." he clears his throat. " Do you Sandra take Damien as your life companion to love and to hold, through good times and bad."

"I do" said Sandra.

"And do you Damien take Sandra to be your life companion to love and to hold, to cherish and protect through danger and peace." said the voice.

Damien take a sidelong glance towards Sandra questioning his decision but remains steadfast and say

"I do" he releases a deep breath as he says that.

An aura of unmatched power and Grace start moving out of the man and he says

" By the Power Of The Universe I hereby Proclaim You Bonded For All Eternity And By No Means Will Anything Break This Bond I Speak Of. Let it be as I Segrugo, GUARDIAN OF THE KNOWN UNIVERSE COMMAND."

Both Damien and Sandra are terrified and awe struck that this much power can come off a single being and there were two such beings in front of them.

"Segrugo can you tone down your power a bit you're scaring the inheritors." said the man's companion.

"It's alright I was done anyway." Segrugo grumbles.

"Now since that's over you two, we plan on sending you to the mortal where you are to gain power to eventually get back here." the woman said " and my name's Seri, 1st generation Guardian of the universe and life companion to this meat head." Seri added

The two stifle a laugh

"We have already prepared bodies for you but the journey will be yours to take ok" Segrugo adds to the mix, seemingly unaffected by the insult aimed at him

"Now off you go." said Segrugo as he drew a line with his finger and space tore and a portal was opened.

Damien and Sandra had little time to marvel at the sheer power of this man as they were pushed by said man through said portal.

As the two were left alone. Segrugo let out a deep sigh and looked to his life companion. He let out another sigh and spoke in a sad tone

" We've been Guardians of this universe for a billion years and our time to care for it has ended and to be honest with you my beloved Seri I'm gonna miss this place."

He looked around as light shone around him revealing an enormous study.

"I hear what you're saying and I will miss it as well but the great calamity has approached our universe and as it's protectors and Guardians we are to destroy it. or die trying. So my love are you ready." Seri holds out her hand

"With you my beloved I always am. The preparations are set and the inheritors will arrive in time to continue our work. i must say leaving the mansion is quite refreshing. So let's go and stop this calamity my dear."

They tear a hole through space and walk through it never to return back to their home.

On an unknown planet

A tear in the sky appears and two blobs fly out.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Damien and Sandra scream as the the fall through the air and are scared out of their wits about it and try to think of a way to land safely.

"Look down below us" Damien directs Sandra's attention to two bodies that are male and female respectively. covert in a Forcefield

" There are our bodies." Damien said

" Brace for Impact".

They entered the Forcefield unharmed and crashed into the two bodies.

'Welcome master/ mistress to your new body please be patient as I run a quick diagnosis.'

Elsewhere in a different location

There was an enormous mountain which was surrounded by a large city spanning over a thousand kilometres. On top of this mountain is a palace size of which is huge and majestic.

In the throne room of this palace sits a man relaxing with his eyes closed as he enjoys his silence.

The doors to the throne room burst open as a guard runs in.

"Your majesty. Your majesty." the guard runs in urgently.

"Ssssshhhh." the king raises his finger to his lips silencing the guard. "Breathe first liutenant and say your piece."

The guard took a deep breath and continued.

"Your majesty there was a spatial tear in the far eastern planet of Nogota in the Onyx Galaxy."

Nogota the planet of Everlasting forest was exactly that Everlasting forest and there were supposed to be no living inhabitants on it apart from the desolate creatures that roam those forests. And just suddenly there's a spatial tear. that was indeed weird.

"And sire there were reportedly two blobs moving through said tear. We believe these contain the souls of powerful beings and are looking for new bodies.

This set the king into thinking mode as he called it and he came up with the following to say

" Journey to Nogota and investigate this occurance. If you do encounter these powerful beings then invite them to our side. If they accept then good but should they prove hostile...."

He released a terrifying aura that scared all the guards in the palace. His eyes taking on a darker shade.

"Annihilate them." he released with a dark edge to his voice.
