1 A New Day, A New Start

November 18th, the Year 2071

Earth,

Ringgg... Ring..

The alarm bell rings.

"Ah! dammit, why can't I just wake up on time again" I can't help but complain.

My name is Zracius Dean. I am usually a very disciplined guy, but the last few days have been heavy on me due to this headache that won't go away 'sigh.'

I glance at the digital clock, which shows 7:23 am, and get off the bed to go for a bath. After entering the bathroom, I look into the mirror in which I see a handsome lad around 19 yo with deep black eyes and dark hair creating a beautiful contrast with pale white skin standing tall at 6ft 2.

After taking a bath and getting ready, I go downstairs for breakfast.

" Good Morning brother" I get the greetings of Zen, my 17 years old brother sitting on the dining table in his high school uniform. He is in the final year, preparing for the university's entrance exams, unlike me, who never went to college.

"Good morning," I replied.

My brother and I had a strong bond since our parents passed away in a plane crash four years ago. Since then, we have been each other's familial support.

We live in the house that my parents left behind, along with enough money to support us for our lives. During my high school, I decided to start my real state business with my parent's empty business apartments, which got successful. With the intelligent investments, I earned a few million taking me to my current situation of never going to college.

"Brother, is your headache better today?" Zen asked

"It is getting worse, I am going to the doctor for a checkup today," I replied

After finishing breakfast, I get into my car i8, ready to go to the hospital.

While driving, I pass by the sci-fi-looking tall buildings and electric cars, again reminded of the fast development of humanity in the past few decades.

It's the 2071st year, and the countries in the world have been united since the year 2050 to develop humanity together as a whole.

The decision was taken due to the disparity of development between first world and third world countries and stop any possibility of countries fighting each other for resources resulting in nuclear war causing the whole world to suffer.

Well, the decision sure helped develop humanity in the right direction at an accelerated speed, causing technology and space research to reach unprecedented heights.

I stop my car in the parking near the Green glowing 50 story building with a giant plus sign, of course, hospital. After getting registration and appointment, I arrive in the hallway as my head starts getting dizzy.

'Not again!'

'This is getting worse and worse every time it acts ups' I think before I start losing consciousness and fall on the hospital floor.

Tap..tap .. tap tap...

Tapping sound rings in my ear as I try to open my eyes which I had to close again due to the brightness; once again, I open my eyes and see the most beautiful scenery in my life.

An otherworldly beautiful woman's face with greenish-blue hair and dark blue eyes as deep as ocean staring at me at a close distance as I lay on the soft ground.

As I try to remember where I am, I think...

'Maybe I am dead and she is a goddess to receive my soul for the afterlife! Am I gonna go Isekai?' I joke in my mind.

"No you are not dead, stop overthinking," the woman replied.

"Oh!" I reply while trying to stand up when the thought hit me that I never said anything. I freeze for a second before trying to control my thought process and letting the situation soak in.

"You don't need to be so wary of me I have no intention of harming you. And let me introduce myself little Dane I am what you know of as your home planet or more accurately consciousness of your home planet, Earth. I am known by many names, you can choose which one you consider appropriate."

I don't wholly believe the mature lady. Still, as I feel the surrounding atmosphere and scenery, which is completely extraordinary, full of greenery and blue water, I am pretty sure that this is not an optical illusion. My little illusory body proves that I am not in a natural state or something like that.

"So can you please explain the current situation, Miss...?" I asked

"This is a little illusory world that I developed to talk with you on some important matters, and believe me the matters I consider important are very very serious for you and all living beings on the planet. You are in your soul form and the headache last few days was due to me trying to establish a connection between us and when you reached an appropriate location that can keep your body in good condition for a while I initiated the contact " The lady replied.

'That explains a little.'

I think while trying to keep my mind off the bountifully blessed beautiful figure of the gracious lady, dressed in beautiful leaves adorned with rose flowers.

I let our conversation so far soak in, and understanding my situation is passive, I ask politely, "So Lady Gaia can you inform me of the important matters that you want to talk about and why me specifically?"

"I choose you because of many reasons but let's not talk about that for now, you will understand the priority and importance of matters in a while," She said before bringing a light orb towards my head, knowing I can't resist, I let the situation proceed.

I feel a heavy burden on my consciousness before I got unconscious again.
