I'm the author of this novel so of course I will rate it 5.0. I know it's not perfect for everyone, but for me it is. I may be biased, but a human being is a biased entity. We love our creations and barely see the flaws in them. Because of this, I need your help. Give me your suggestions to make this novel better. Unique novel with romance + humor + kingdom building all in one. writing quality is superb really, with only occasional mistakes. Stability of updates - never missed a day. Story Development - one of the bests out there. Characters are not there only for plot and they are ALIVE. Character design - I've said about it already but all i will add is that nothing happens without reasons and characters act accordingly to the situation. World Background-is detailed, there is no "Oh yes there apparently exists super duper strong sect which will get crushed in few dozen chapters and our MC will clash with them in the next. because we need plot damn it!"
A critical review here, coming from great books like the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones books) and Tom Clancy books, this webnovel has a good plot HOWEVER it lacks intricate details throughout the book. Its basically like reading a summary of a book or just reading the MOST important parts of a plot/story but you almost barely read parts about the day to day or the more deep details to flesh out its writing.
When I began reading this, I did so only to pass the time between events in my life. As time went on, however, I found myself sneaking in a chapter or 2 at any given opportunity. Truly addictive and beautifully worded. Thankfully I did not need to wait for installments as it was readily available when I started. Thank you to the author, I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter and was captivated. I look forward, even eager, to reading more of your titles.
I really wanted to give a shot to this novel, but there are really a lot if things that just donβt make sense to anyone who knows a little about how things worked in the Medieval period. I tolerated it at first and I read till the 44th chapter, but when the story is based on ridiculous things again and again, itβs unbearable and too annoying to read.
The novel is an exemplary example of how someone should write. The characters are beautifully written and rather unique. In many ways, the sense of those characters is their ****** humanity they have vices, hubris, and beliefs. I would like to be more specific but alas I would prefer this review to be spoiler free. The world is realistic and low fantasy where rather than focusing on systems it focuses on characters. It is a born classic thus far. My hat off to the author.
This, this.... Finally I found a novel without system, without cultivation, and no magics. Really, after reading this novel, it was like I drink a glass of water after many years of thirst... This book is one of the most professionally written books among the originals, not like some of the other original novels that are more like scribbles of a middle schooler. The author really put the story well. The war, the romance, and the conspiracies are nicely written that each of them really build the story nicely without contradicting each other.
