Next morning…

"Kei, it's morning…. Wake up"

"Mmmm...five more minutes"

*smooch*

A warm kiss landed on my cheek.

Huh? Who kisses me? I immediately open my eyes, and…

"Whoaaaaa...…!!"

"Good morning, Kei"

Chitose's face is already so close to me. I rushed to get up and make some distance from her. She sits in my bed and makes a smile while greeting me

"Wh..why..why you wake me up like that?"

"Huh? Isn't a kiss is like a greeting? In U.S, it's common to greet someone we know with a kiss on the cheek. Besides, a kiss on the cheek does not count as a kiss, right?"

I feel my face already hot this morning because of her kiss. And Chitose seems like to tease me more

"So, the next morning it should be a kiss on the lips, okay?"

"No need! No need!"

Chitose giggling while left my room to help my mom making breakfast.

Geez, her face may resemble her mom, but her attitude is completely different. She's already like an American girl.

I get up from my bed and take a bath and after have breakfast, I'm going to school. Chitose accompany me leave till front door. And before I left home, she says something to me

"Kei, after school, accompany me going to a place, please?"

"Where to?"

"Touka High School. I want to take the entrance test application form, please? Will you?"

"Just go alone!"

"Ugh, why you like that?"

"I don't want to!"

"But…Aren't Kei also want to enter Touka High School? Just pick me up after school later"

"Wait a minute…."

*BLAM*

Chitose already closes the door before hear my objection anymore.

Geez, why me? She can go there by herself. Why should she go with me?

Touka High School, after I finish my school.

Finally, I take Chitose to go to Touka High School together. After taking the form she wants to apply, we take a chance to look around the Touka High School

"Wow, it's a good school! The atmosphere is so comfortable here"

Chitose look around her with an excited expression on her face. Her face is getting serious when she saw some Touka High School students with their uniform in afar. It's a green Tosca uniform vest with school logo crest over the chest. Touka is the most favorite private school that have their own uniform, different from the state school which has the similar standard uniform like other state schools.

"Kei, look at that"

She's pointing at those students.

"You remember? My mom is a fashion designer. That Touka High School's uniform is also one of her design"

Designer? Something is tickling in my mind when hearing what Chitose just said

"It would be nice if we can wear that uniform in the next spring, right Kei?"

"That….that's impossible. I …. I don't want to apply for Touka High School's entrance test"

"Ah?....what?....why?"

"Actually…I get D grade in the prep test for Touka. I'm not that smart, is not possible for me to pass the entrance test"

"Kei, the entrance test still one more month later"

"It should be only one month left, besides there are other high schools, not only Touka High School"

"But only Touka High School which have that uniform"

"Huh?"

"And how…how about our 'promise'?"

"Promise?...what promise?"

Chitose looks at me with sad eyes, there're tears in the corner of her eyes.

"Kei, you idiot!!"

After saying that Chitose is run away and left me standing dumbfounded here alone.

Promise? You remember? My mom is a fashion designer. Chitose's word resounded again in my mind, bring me back to when I'm five years old when I and Chitose visit her mom's design studio. That's when we see a uniform that her mom just made were put in the mannequin to displayed

[Wow, mom, what is this?]

[That's new uniform for Touka High School]

[Wow, it's beautiful, right Kei?]

[Yes, it's cool]

[Mommy, I want to wear that uniform]

[Ah, but this uniform is too big for you to wear]

[Humph]

[Hihihi…I'm sorry Chitose. You should grow up quickly, and don't forget study diligently, so you can become Touka student]

[Touka High School?]
