4 The Game

"This is not what the Prince has told me! I will meet you again you scumbag! For I Sebastian will be fighting to the death for love!" He pointed at Rui who still does not have a clue of what had happened.

Sebastian left with his battalion of guards waiting for him outside the lounge.

"Oh my gosh. What have I done." Maia sat on couch as she shook her head in disappointment.

"I am really sorry that I have involved you in this situation." Maia said to Rui.

To tell you honestly. I am really liking what's happening now. Of course I don't mean the part of me, being your boyfriend kinda stuff but how complicated this is. For the first time in my life! I feel alive. But of course that's just what Rui is thinking.

"Introducing me as your boyfriend is ridiculous. First, I will never be attracted to a girl like you. Secondly, you cannot. fix a problem with another problem." He told Maia with a grin in his face.

Maia was silent for a minute.

"You are right!" Maia looking at the chess pieces exclaimed.

"I am glad I sparked a little sense in that tiny brain of yours." I guess the party is over. Rui thought to himself.

"I heard you are champion of the chess team. Why don't we settle this with your own game!" Maia's eyes was sparkling.

WAIT WHAT?! Is this girl even real? She just brushed off all of the things that Rui meant.

"How did you come up with that?! I am not even your opponent!"

"You see, if you agreed to be my fake boyfriend, Sebastian might just leave me alone."

"What? I can't even fathom how you come up with this idea."

"Looks like the chess master is wussing out."

"If its a chess game that you want I might reconsider." Rui has not had any serious chess opponent for quite some time so he is quite delighted.

She is not what he is looking for but what he needed. There is a special connection between them but he is not sure where. She is as mysterious as her eyes.

He got lost in her eyes.

"Checkmate!! You shall be my servant from now on!"
