1 Chapter 01 : The First Day
"Ahh morning sun shines are the best !! with a cup of coffee, mm delicious"
As i check my phone I'm running late to university.
"Shit!" I whisper.
"Oh my god what should i wear ?? ugh should've picked out the outfits last night, lets just go with these high waist wide jeans, this black tank top andd my favorite purple shirt on top, perfect !"
"Okay now for hairstyle, I'll just do a quick blowout hairstyle and I'll wear some minimalistic jewellery"
Okay perfect I'm ready.
As i arrive into the hallway, I see everyone so close to each other. Some are chilling at the couch area, some are talking to each other, some are getting bullied and some are even making out !
Suddenly someone taps me on the shoulder from behind and I got a shock.
"Hey bestie" says Alyna
"Um hey?" I reply. I didn't expect someone to approach me.
"You're Nicole right?"
"Yeah, do I know you ?"
"I suppose you don't but now you will, come with me"
"Um I'm sorry I'm not sure, I'm new here by the way so I don't know anyone here"
"I know, I'm your roommate stupid"
"Ohh I'm sorry!" I exclaim
"Nah chill"
"Okay let me introduce myself properly now"
"My name is Nicole but people call me Collie, I'm 20 and I'm from California"
"Oh nice I'm Alyna, I'm 21 and I'm from Arizona; I hope we'll get along i guess"
"Yup same, I'm ready to go with you now, i'm so confused I really need a tour of this huge university"
"Yeah sure come with me"
I walk around the packed halls with lots of "different" kinds of people.
"Okay so these are the mean girls, stay away from them like just don't even look at them I swear they're THE WORST !!" Alyna says.
"Yeah I did get the feeling that they're the meanies" I reply.
"They are the lovebirds or whatever just try not to look at them while they're making out if you don't wanna feel sick, these people on the couch are pretty nice people actually, they are the LGBTQ+ community there's like a place only for them and don't you dare disrespect them or else there will be consequences and everyone else here is pretty much normal" explains Alyna.
I was too stunned to speak.
"T- Thankyou..for informing me about everyone" I reply.
Suddenly the halls started to smell..like a sweaty smell.
"Do you smell something? like..sweat?" I ask.
"Oh yeah its the basketball players, they just got back from their practice" Alyna responds
"Oh i see"
I was walking casually with my coffee when I suddenly bumped into someone and my coffee spilled onto their shirt.
"Oh sorry sorry, I'm so sorry" I apologize
I start to grab a handkerchief from my purse to wipe the shirt.
"Do you know how much this shirt costs? Are you insane? Can't you see properly while walking?" shouted Andrew.
I got scared for life, I'm not that confident to reply back and it was my first day how can it go so wrong ugh it's all my fault !
"Hey quit the act Andrew" says Alyna
"Hey I'm sorry i was just playing I'm not a bully, I swear" says Andrew.
I hate how he joked about it, I have ptsd and I was on the verge to cry but atleast thankgod he was just playing around.
"Hi I'm Andrew Collins, nice to meet you; i guess you are new here am I right ?" asks Andrew
"Um hi im Collie, not so nice to meet you" I reply
He laughs and walks away.
"Hey just don't get bothered by him he's always like this, makes jokes and stuff but he is actually pretty nice by heart, he's my friend so don't mind I'm sorry" expresses Alyna
"No seriously it's okay" I reply
