19 Alec's POV

I was shock when My mate growled. This is about the three time she growled. She looked focus and ready to kill the people who was at the living room and to be my surprised a woman who looked just like my mate.

I was shock but I couldn't show it at all. It was her family. Why does she acts like this towrds her family? Even more why her mother?

Does she hates her so badly?

They looked calm and very living people and I do not feel no threat towards them but Marigold mind linking saying that do not be fooled by her mother. I was shock altough I have to admit I like this side of Marigold a lot.

This is the side where I never knew about before until she pounded one of the pack slut. After she left, she mind linked in wanting me to take care of them and get them a room since they came from far away and they probably hungry. I had to chuckled.

Although she was acting different in front them she still care about them.

I look at them. I smiled. "Are you all hungry?" I asked them and they nodded. Arethusa looked sad. She looked just like My beautiful mate. She looked down and then at me.

She looked like she wanted to tell me something.

'Natalie come to the living room quickly.' I mind linked.

'Am On my way.' she mind linked me about. Within few second she came in. "Natalie take the kids to the kitchen and make them something to eat." I order her and she nodded.

"Come and get something to eat." she told them as they walked with her. "Come we can talk in my office." I told them as they followed me into my office.

Once we got there I sat down in my chairs. "Please sit." I told them as they sat down.

" Now tell me what is on your mind, Mrs. Cullen?" She looked at me surprised. I smiled.

"I can tell you have something to say. You look just Marigold." I told her and she smiled just like her.

"Thank you and thanks for being her mate. That child had been through so much and disappeared over a year. We were looking for her everywhere but she couldn't be found until now. I can see she is doing well and I hope she isn't giving you any problem, Alpha Alec." She told me. "Call me Alec and no she isn't. Well, it is quite the oppsite. She is very kind and sweet even lovable. Just like you, Mrs. Cullen." I told her as she looked surprised so did Mr. Cullen. She looks at him.

"Our baby...she's...she finally able to be just herself." She told him which made me flinch surprise but a bit annoyed.

"What do you need by that?" I asked her.

She looks at me as she sighed sadly.

"When she was little, she has been the target for everything. We kept everything hidden from her even not letting her outside by herself. When she turn five years old, she..." she cried.

"She was still a child, she should've her childhood years just any child in the world. She was sweet, kind, loved, and beautiful but that day, I let her out of my sight for once minute when she cried for help, I ran to see what happen and saw her in the arms of a man. She was crying for my help and I was about to help her and I was attacked by one of the men. I was knock out and By the time, I woke up she was done." She sobbed hard as her husband confort her.

I growled as she told this.

"We went to look for her and once we found her, she was covered in blood, men were on the floor with guns all over the floor. Then I realize that the men took my daughter to war. They let her experience something that horrible and terifed. She didn't cry or looked scared.She was blank out. She became emotionless. And years later, she became herself again and until...we were attack by wizlocks. Marigold just turn seven when this happen and I kept Marigold inside in her bedroom as Matthew and I fought back. I got hurt and lost a lot of blood but...." she paused as she sobbed again.

"I tell you what happen..." Matthews told me as I nod.

"We didn't knew that Marigold has been seeing us fighting with the attackers and she completely went blank as she saw her own mother in a pool of blood. She scream in fear and killed the attackers as blood spill on her tiny body. She blanked out and ever since then she became distant from us and she started to become violent and aggressive towards other people. We all love her so much but she changed completely after she saw her mother in danger." He told me as he looked serious.

I couldn't believe that she went through all that she went through all that by herself and without telling people her feelings.

I need to be with my mate.

'Caleb come to my office at once.' I urge him in mind linked.

'I am on my way.' he told me in a serious way.

"I just told my Beta to come and he will be arriving soon so he can take you with your kids." I told them and they nodded.

Then Caleb knocked. "Come in." I order him as he came in. "Please take your Luna's parents to the kitchen with their kids. Feed them and show them to their rooms so they can relax." I order him and he nodded.

"Well I am off. I hope you have a great day today." I told them as I left.

'I will be with my mate and I do not want no one to disturb at all.' I ordered them.

'Yes Alpha.'

I blocked all the connection and went to my bedroom where my mate slept in bed comfortably.
