I Slept With One Of Them

"Well, sorry about that, but I slept with one of them at a motel. And due to my mistake, she witnessed some of my supernatural abilities.

So, I had no other choice except to kill her. But her flesh was really delicious... And the other one quit the job due to her own personal issues, it was not my fault." He blurted out with an impish expression in his eyes while staring at him.

William seemed too frustrated with his confession and he snarled at him while standing up from his seat. "You are absolutely lecherous. I am sick of your heinous acts.

You are putting our whole existence in danger! Roger, it's the last time I am giving my permission to recruit new ones. But if you dare to mess with them again, I will take strict measures." He growled at him fiercely and walked outside the hall.

Roger stood still behind while watching him leaving alone. "Just enjoy your supreme position till I overhaul you, big brother. And I will be the one with the last victory." He mumbled.

It was around 11.30 am. The weather was all sunny. Sherry was nonchalantly strolling down the sidewalk, beside the Rione Monte Central Bank. She had a wistful expression on her face while holding a cheque in her right arm.

It's the money she obtained as the benefactor of some remaining fixed savings of Felix. As his only alive family member, she withdrew the money with a heavy heart. Though, she never wanted to face this helpless day all alone.​​

With tears shimmering at the corner of her eyes she peeked at the cheque once. "I should find a job as early as possible... But I have been rejected so many times that now I don't even feel the urge to go for an interview. Life totally sucks." She sounded too grievous.

Suddenly, her eyes stuck on the notice board placed on the sidewalk. Immediately she rushed towards the board and saw a pamphlet fixed there.

"Looking for hard-working and ambitious interns. Interested applicants can join the Romano Group of Business."

The bulletin written on the pamphlet caught her attention. Abruptly she took a picture of the pamphlet with a pleasant grin.

"Romano group is one of the most prestigious organizations. If by any chance, I can join here, I won't need to think of my living expenses from so on.

I should stop by the company today only." She mumbled in a mellow tone and rushed towards her home to collect her CV for the interview. With new hopes of coping with the doomed life, she was moving ahead with bold steps.

Little did she know, the storms awaiting to enter her already messed up life.

Romano Business Group Main building:

William finished up with the meeting held with their important sponsors and quietly headed towards his cabinet. Roger didn't attend the conference and it pissed him off.

As Roger holds 20% of the shares in the company, it's mandatory for him to attend every gathering. But his ignorance made him quite agitated.

Mr. Pablo, William's personal assistant was walking beside him at a slow pace. He has been his trustworthy PA for over 7 years and most importantly, he is a human.

"Why didn't Czar attend here today?" He inquired in a dubious voice.

Mr. Pablo flinched with his question and fidgeted for a moment. "Well, I don't know, sir. Maybe, he is busy somewhere." He answered politely.

William wasn't pleased with his answer and he frowned his face. "Yeah, I know, must be busy with some chicks for having fun. I am frustrated with that jerk now." He continued.

Mr. Pablo moved a bit close to him and twitched his eyebrows. "Umm, sir, some of the candidates have arrived for the interview in the intern's open position. Should I send them to you?" He asked.

William seemed completely uninterested in the activity and stroked his hair upwards while heading toward his room.

"I don't have any patience left to deal with candidates, you can choose the capable ones. Don't bother me for such irrelevant issues." He mumbled.

Suddenly his feet halted with the perception of something unexpected. He sensed the fragrance of that captivating sweet scent of that unknown lady, which was emerging through his office.

Restlessly he looked around to seek the source of the scent but the hallway was desolated. The smell was quite alluring for him as he seemed restless with the slightest perception.

Immediately a thought struck his mind. Sharply, he looked at Mr. Pablo before asking, "where are the new candidates?"

He was startled by his sudden query and ogled at him cryptically. "Sir, they all are present in the waiting room. Do you want to take a look?" He reverted back to his query.

Nonchalantly William tilted his head in response. His mind was filled up with curiosities. The sensation of that unique smell provoked his intrusiveness to a high extent. With gallant steps, he boldly headed towards the waiting room.

As he walked close to the room, the sensation of that fragrance eventually got stronger. The fragrance seemed to have wholly overtaken his mind which was going benumb.

With an undefined longingness, he stopped at the door. But, suddenly he regained his senses and refrained from walking inside. His heart was throbbing unconditionally fast and he seemed too restless. Mr. Pablo was ogling at him inquisitively with his obscure gaze.

There was a glass windowpane placed on the wooden door. William silently raised his chin up and peeked at the candidates present inside.

To his shock, that ambiguous lady was sitting inside with a fretful expression prominent on her face. William jolted away from the door and rolled his eyes in surprise.

"I... I wasn't wrong! I can indeed sense her presence! I...I can perceive her smell... But what is she doing here?"

He anticipated while gasping aloud. Without uttering a single word, he stood all numb.
