6 6. What a Surprise

Looking around me I could not help but feel a sudden burst of rage.

It has been a few days now and things were going good for me. I quickly found a nice remote cave on a cliffside that overlooked a large lake. Seeing as the magical beasts are quite a low level here I knew this would be a good place to stay. If my estimations were right they should only be around the martial master level.

But who would have fucking thought that after just a few days of peacefully cultivating I would be getting jumped by a group of different magical beasts? Apparently they don't quite like the fact that I am now living here since I can see types that I know for a fact are not friendly with each other.

"!!!"

Dodging to the left I grabbed the tiger-like creature that came at me. Grabbing it by the neck with my right hand before it flew past, I crushed its neck before tossing it to the side and spitting on its body.

Looking at the 20 or so magical beast that all had an essence level that was at least 10x the amount of what the beast at the lake was.

Sensing a gaze I looked up to a tree overlooking the area and felt the anger build up even more as I see a 3-meter tall eagle stare cockily down towards me. Feeling something snap I just laughed.

"YOU are Fucking DEAD!"

Sensing the essence in the atmosphere coming towards me. I greedily consumed it and kicked off towards the eagle while leaving a massive crater that will serve as its grave.

Ducking I twist my body in a 360 dodging a pure black panther that tries to sneak me landing a straight left kick caving in its skull. Using the kick to launch myself to a pair of wolves off to the side I grab both of their jaws as I fly by slamming both of their heads down into the dirt. Looking up from my crouched position I stare straight into the eyes of a massive red bear.

Not expecting me to pretty much pop out of nowhere I jumped up and launched a flurry of punches at its body. Blocking my punches by crossing its arms it seems to get tired of the punches and pushes out its arm launching me back with a

*ROOOAAAR*

Now flying headfirst through the air, I use the momentum to flip back upright and bring my hands up in front of me with my wrist touching and launch a green wind ki blast to quickly put a hole through its chest. The bear feeling something off looked down at its chest and seemed to have look on its face as of wondering 'why is there a hole in my, and why is half of my heart missing?'

With a smile on my face, I brought my left hand up and without looking grab a python that is priming up a red ki blast in its mouth and just clamp down on its jaw-closing it shut. Looking up at it as I hang from its head I could see the panic as it realized it was too late to stop the attack.

*BOOOM*

Now with nothing to keep me up, I start to fall to the ground as something swoops by and leaves three deep gashes on my chest.

Barely keeping myself from screaming I land on my feet.

Looking up at the eagle that was now has MY blood on its talons in the air once again looking down on me, I felt my blood boiling, the back of my neck tingle and hair rise as I let the rage take me.

Pointing my right finger to its head I could not wait to eat this oversized chicken

"Bang."

Sending a super-condensed line of essence straight through its head I watched as it fell straight into the original crater I created.

*Shuffle* *Shuffle* *Shuffle*

Sensing the rest of the beast running away from the area I power down from the Super Saiyan state I didn't even notice I entered. Walking over to the crater I start gathering different size pieces of wood and bodies.

Now looking down on the now-dead eagle I toss everything in the grave and lite it on fire with a ki blast.

"At least I don't have to go looking for food since it came to me today."
