9 The Crown Is Mine I

I was shaking in fear the type that makes you wonder. What hell hole did we fall in, and what are we going to have to do to crawl our way out. People were on their knees, grovelling, begging that God would help them but Gods power doesn't extend to hell is what i thought. But all of a sudden everyone looked at me, like i was some sort of prophet, like i was the messiah of this place, like i was able to save them. In all honesty i just guessed.

But i couldn't say that to them. we need hope right now, so i will provide them that, while we were all delirious with fear it dawned on me that the statues had moved closer and closer than before.

"There's a time limit" i said hesitantly, " we have to work fast everyone, what was the next commandment " i exclaimed with haste.

" a test of honesty " the lone petite healer called out, thank god she remembers it because i could only remember the last ones.

What could a test of honesty be, she didn't remember the rest of the commandment, is what we were told by the healer. Another plate had arisen from the floor, this time it was clearly a pressure plate, but what were we meant to do, it wasn't big enough for us to all stand on it, so what could it be.

"Aaaahggh" Our archer shouted

" what, what happened ! " i shouted

" this thing on my hand changed shape when i put my bow down on that plate thing to tie my laces "

That's it, that's what we needed, we needed to lay down our arms, that's what a test of faith is. We need to show faith by believing in the monsters' God. We all instantly put down our weapons and almost in unison a sigh of relief had been let off.

But for some reason only mine the archer and 2 others symbols changed.

The demon spoke again "THOSE WHO DID NOT BELIVE AND SHOW FAITH, WILL BE PUNISHED AND THOSE WHO ARE HARBOURING FEELING OF RAGE WILL NOT BE SPARED " it shouted monotonously.

This harrowing gust of wind over took the room, and within a few minutes the purge of eight more began. The blood of eight humans tainted the floor, the clothes and the faces of the monsters that Murdered so many before us, and soon we would realise our own harrowed fate.
