2 Within 15 hours!

AIT International, Seyfert City.

The meeting room was being suspected to be doomed to have silence befallen on it. Nobody dared to speak and yearned for silence as if their life depended on it. It was not the employees' fault 'cause even if a commoner happened to enter the room, he/she would be frozen to the death just for the sake of the dangerous aura that was released from the man sitting in the CEO's chair.

" So is this the way how you all like to show your competence?" The man spoke up, revealing a faint smile that did not reach his eyes.

The people before him shivered from his expression and crossed their fingers to avoid getting their termination letter. They tried to say something in defense but felt their throat drying as they saw the man revolving the paper-weight on the table with his right hand. It was the best gesture to understand that one's impending doom was not that far. If you still wanted to have a good night's sleep, you'd better not lose your mind. But some people, in-spite of harboring great knowledge, do remain stupid all their life.

" B..b..but sir! W..what's t..the problem with investing in the entertainment circle? It's very flourishing!" A man in his thirties said, almost whispering.

The people around the table looked up at the same time, moving their eyes from one man to the other with the same thought. ' What? Do you have a death wish?'

Just as when everyone was silently deciding the fate of the 'stupid' employee, the sound of a slow chuckle almost made everyone's heart to stop beating. The slow chuckle slowly turned into a burst of frivolous laughter when it suddenly came to an abrupt halt.

"Hm... Fen, marvelous! You have the greatest sense of humor. Why didn't you ever try for the stand-on comedy? Let me give you the opportunity 'cause I never experienced such mirth. You're fired!" The man in the CEO's chair stated with an amused look.

" Now you can enter the entertainment circle."

" B.. bu..but Sir! I am not for that. I've solely intended my life and career in the information technology sector. How can I change my paths? I'd be devastated!" The man named Fen retorted, with tears filling up in his eyes.

The mysterious man's expression turned dark while he said, " No buts! Why Fen? Why must you now feel that you'd be devastated or something? According to you, if my company, the company which always dealt with IT and has been developing in AI, can enter into the entertainment circle and flourish then why can't you? What's the deal? And you may even get highly paid than now. Since I am giving you the opportunity, why not grab it and get out of my sight?"

" David, please help our 'humorous' Mr. Fen with his exit"

David was the man's assistant. He immediately grabbed his phone and made a call to arrange Fen's things in luggage and keep them at the door. Fen knew what he had done and decided not to humiliate himself more. So, he stood up and gradually retreated from the room, leaving the entire area in deafening silence.

When the door closed, the man stood up and swept his black, somber eyes over the heads of the people sitting. With instinct, all the people in the room stood up.

Then, in a deep voice said, " If anybody else has the same thinking, then they are invited to leave. I, Alex Blue, will never allow anyone to dare look down on this company. Even if we have to strain our souls out, never in our lives will I ever going to change the future of this company by contributing to another field. The sole purpose of this company has always been to make advancements in IT. I will not accept any kind of mistakes from the next second and so I will give you 15 hours. Within 15 hours, hire the most efficient software finance manager. If not, then all of you present here should be ready to pack their luggage and get lost."

The room's temperature felt to have been dropped by several degrees Everyone shivered on the thought of the task given to them. The most efficient manager was already hired and fired the same day for his incompetency. Now, they were told to hire another one. Was this even humanly possible?

After 2 minutes, a deep voice ordered, " Meeting adjourned." With that Alex strolled out of the room, leaving behind a group of panicking employees.

Cold sweat appeared on everybody's head and palms as they ran to complete the given task at hand...
