1 The Underworld's Welcome

It was a dark night and the wind roamed the silent world, The tree branches were dancing according to its will.

Inside a colorful city, there is always taints of darkness, in a dim alley there was a man sitting with his back facing the cold wall, inside this alley there can be found trash and some empty cans of drinks.

This man was a influential figure in the underground world, he was called The Distributor.

his career ended with a flash after he made the wrong choice, without even having the chance to repent for it.

-26 Years Before-

A child was wearing ragged clothes, he was around sixteen years old and a bit good looking if we ignore the dirt on his face and the malnourished body.

This kid was trying to find something for him to be able to survive this day, he went around alleys looking for food or scraps he can sell, but instead he saw a man lying down with his eyes closed holding a pack of something like white powder, curious he moved towards him and noticed that his breath was nonexistent and he was as still as a log.

Having seen a lot of things while growing up the child was unfazed, maybe it was his ignorance or just his lack of emotions that made him calm about finding a dead body.

He moved close and saw that the man was holding a phone on his other hand, he quickly picked it up and the pack then hide them under his shirt, walking away from the body without a single soul noticing him, or at least that's what he thought.

A man holding a needle with 2 others wearing black suit saw the whole scene and one of them said "he took the evidence we planted, should we stop him?" the one holding the needle asked while looking at the boy, while the other picked up his phone while saying "i will report to the boss, then see".

In a luxurious room, where there was a big sofa with a middle aged man sitting in the middle of it, he looked serious as he was holding a report, it was the transactions that his family has made the previous months, he then looked at a person beside him sipping on wine and said "everything looks correct, make sure you handle The Distributor well and find another one that we can control".

"Sure boss" the person said just as he was going to get up he felt his phone vibrating, 'who's calling at this time?' he picked up and got filled on what the men in the suit saw, he smiled and looked at his boss while saying, "Note his appearance and follow him to see where he lives, and send someone to make the deal that was put on the phone, remember without making him uneasy and make sure its done without contact".

when he finished he said "Boss, i think i found the right heir of the old man, and this one is under our control, luck is on our side", The person called Boss didn't change his expression and said "make sure it doesn't go wrong you will be held accountable".

the man who spoke on his phone had an awkward expression and said "i will be careful" then left.

-Back to the kid-

He walked slowly while looking around and trying to see if someone was following him, unfortunately he was bound to not knowing that there are three armed man following his tail.

Going in the dark night into an abandoned construction site, The kid sat down and looked at the phone "its not even locked" then he opened it and saw that there was a new message, curious he opened it and saw a string of words [The Deal will be done in 2 days late night at XXX put the package in the garbage near the light pole and pick your payment from the one in the other side. PS: put the package first]

looking at the message he felt his hands shake, his brain knew that if he really did this he might change his whole life.

after a while he calmed a bit and looked at the message, 'this is weird, if this person is a professional why did they add the PS after' he felt that there was something fishy, but he knew that he had to change his life otherwise he will continue living like this until someday he loses his life.

Clenching the package his eyes grew determined, he found a box and put it on the ground so he can lay on it and hid the package and the phone inside an empty cement bag near him, the following day went with him thinking of the probabilities that can happen in the next day, after a while he shook his head and looked at the bag.

He then waited until it was late, he sneaked out and went to a place near the address he found an empty Park in an isolated place, he then walked towards the Bin where he was told to put the package, he looked into it and found nothing then put the package in it before squatting in a bush nearby and waited for hours, just as he started to feel his knees hurt, he saw a man dressed in a garbage collector outfit he went directly towards the bin that contained the package.

As he walked closer the kid felt his palms wet and his legs trembled slightly, he was ready to dash at the first sign of something going wrong, but the garbage man picked up the package and threw it in a black plastic bag, then went to the one opposite to it and put something in it, The kid was intrigued, but decided to wait.

After hours of waiting and lack of traffic in the park he finally moved quickly and looked at the bin, he saw a paper package, he looked around and picked it up then left quickly.

Retreating back to the abandoned half finished building he examined the package and saw that there is a pattern on the bottom right, it was a skull with a snake around it.

Shaking his head he opened the package and saw that there was multiple stacks of money held by a rubber band, his hands shook, he have never seen this amount of money all his life, he looked at it and took a bill put it in front the flashlight of the phone, "its real" he had a shocked look and felt that he hit the jackpot.

He then looked at the phone and saw that there are other numbers, by looking at the messages he could guess what each one of them is used for, one for demanding the packages and another for cleaning services.

He took the money and used it to find normal clothes and applied for a part-time job, looking like a normal kid searching for work experience.

-6 Months Later-

The same person who was looking for meals to survive, was now tasting delicacies, but he didn't spend too much in fear of attracting attention from people.

'the more people who know about my money the harder it is to cover up the source'.

He walked back from a restaurant to his apartment and looked at a hidden drawer, or more specifically the object inside.

it was the thing that changed his life, the phone that he picked up.

that day was engraved in his memory, he shook his head and continued doing his house chores but this day wasn't the same as others.

-In a Closed Room-

a man picked up his phone and said "he had a taste of the good life, let's drag him deeper into it. start the plan"

"yes sir" the other person said through the phone.

-Back to the apartment-

while watching TV he heard a phone vibrating, he checked the one in his pocket but didn't see any message or notification, he stood up and with trembling hands opened the drawer, and as he expected it was the phone in there that had a message and it was [The new transaction will be done in 5 days the person who will buy is important, even though he is new to the business he has a lot of money, he is demanding 2 Kgs of XXX and some samples of other ones. Come prepared].

seeing it he dropped the phone and sat down thinking about the consequences, after a long while he stood up and thought 'i don't think i can just avoid this right now they must have known that its not the original person who is doing this, maybe this is a test to know if I'm suitable, anyways i can't run away like this, i will get enough money to control my fate but now i can only work for them' he wasn't sure if all that he said was true, it was just a speculation from his part.

"alright let's do this" He stood up and messaged the person who gives the packages, and gave an address [The deposit is XXXX i need 2kgs of XXX and some samples for a new sheep]

then he waited, he didn't go to his part time job the day after, he waited for a reply and he got it, [The package is in XXXXX there is a box in the right alleyway put the deposit there and pick up the one in the bin.]

Seeing that 2 of these deals has been done through bins he thought that the cleaning company has something to do with this, but this wasn't time for him to care, he proceeded with the deal and put some of his money he saved from the first deal into it.
