11 PRESENT

Raj went through his NC and saw that the time was 18:50, so he got up and went downstairs. He didn't want his father yelling at him for being late.

Raj saw his father and his 'wife' talking to each other, it seems they've gotten pretty close. Raj would've been happy if he saw this before the previous incident at the Bureau, but now he felt like his 'wife' was upto something. If she hurt him, he could probably endure it because she's after all his wife. But if she tries to hurt his father then it's different story, he didn't want his dad to become a pawn in her hands.

If this was a girl he loved, he would be more than happy to make his dad a pawn in her hands rather he would shamelessly say 'if she wants i would even give her the sky, why wouldn't i let her fool my old man? She's just taking revenge for me for all the times the old man had suppressed me.'

Seeing Raj coming, Harshitha looked up and smilingly said "What were you doing in your room? Didn't you tell me to be home at 19:00?"

Raj could feel her provocation through her words, he could only laugh coldly in his heart and think 'Did you think I'm so easy to lose my calm? Just because i had a outbreak the other day it doesn't mean that I'll lose my cool every time! It was only because my naïve dad wanted to give his pill i lost my cool. You are no where near for me to lose my temper for your sake.' and said "was meditating, so how come you're early? I thought you would be coming late due to work."

Harshitha was internally dumbfounded, isn't this guy easy to provoke? But why is so calm now? If others knew she was trying to make the Slaughter God lose his temper, they would definitely call her dumb. Can a man who's been in countless fights and who kills without any emotions lose his temper over a young girl? The answer is definitely no!

Harshitha didn't know what to say and could only remain silent.

Seeing her being numb, Raj continued to tease "Is it that you missed me? And couldn't help but be back early?"

Hearing his words, Harshitha felt her whole world crumble she thought 'Who would even miss you? I even didn't attend for marriage procedures and you still have the skin to say that I missed you?'

Ravi was extremely happy, seeing the two of conversing and joking with each other, he said "Enough Raj, we still need to go to a place."

Raj nodded his head and gave Harshitha a smirk.

After that the trio left the mansion and got on a flying car which Mathew drove.

The car drove towards the most luxurious district in Hilton City, the NY District. The NY District is famous for it's luxury mansions and high class society. It is said that only people with high level influence can buy a mansion even if you have money but if you don't have the high authority, then you're not qualified to buy a mansion here.

Seeing the car entering the NY District, Harshitha thought to herself 'even dad can't get a mansion here, even though he has many business deals with the government. But how can these father and son duo have a mansion here? Isn't R.R group a newly established enterprise and has been only there for 5 to 6 years? Their over all assets are not even close to my dad's assets. Maybe I'm just overthinking things.'

Just as she was thinking, the car stopped in front of a mansion.

The defence system of the mansion scanned the vehicle along with them. A mechanical voice was heard "Welcome home master, young master and the lady of the house."

The gates of the mansion opened under the surprised gaze of Harshitha. She realized this mansion did indeed belong to them. The car drove inside the courtyard of the mansion and stopped at the front of the mansion.

Ravi was satisfied seeing that his daughter in law was pleasantly surprised but when turned to see his son's expression he froze. Well you can't blame Raj really, as he was meditating before they left and the quiet atmosphere in the car made him sleepy and he slept on the way.

Harshitha also noticed the unusual look on Ravi's face and turned her graze towards her 'husband', when she saw him sleeping peacefully she couldn't help but laugh inside.

Ravi stepped out of the car from the co-pilot seat and went to the back seat where Raj had fallen asleep. He opened the door, which made Raj awaken from his sleep somewhat. He murmured unconsciously "Let me sleep for another few mins..."

To which he was greeted by a slap from Ravi, Harshitha couldn't help but laugh out this time seeing the comical pair of son and father.

The slap made Raj fully awake from his drowsiness, he turned his head to take in his surroundings and couldn't help cast a glance at his father which obviously meant 'why did you hit me?'

Ravi ignored his glance and said to Harshitha "come daughter in law I'll show you the present I prepared for your marriage." And waited for Harshitha to step out of the car.

Hearing his words Harshitha obediently stepped out of the car and followed Ravi inside the mansion.

Seeing that both his father and 'wife' ignored him, Ravi couldn't help but turn to Mathew and asked "Uncle do you think that the old man has lost his mind?"

Mathew who heard him say that, asked him in curiously "why do you think so young master?"

"See, he slaps his own son and doesn't even bother to explain why, most importantly he ignores me and treats his daughter in law better than he treats his own son" said Raj.

Mathew laughed and said "young master you also know that master is treating her well so that she'll find a sense of belonging in our house. Also master has been eager to hold his grand children, so it goes without saying that she will have the same place you've in master's heart."

Raj too knew this was the case but he couldn't help but ask "but why the hell did he hit me?"

Mathew didn't know what to say. What should he say? Should he say that master wasn't satisfied because he couldn't see young master's surprised expression? Thinking about it, Mathew shook his head and said "I don't know young master, you should the master yourself."

"Are you kidding me? If i ask him, I'm pretty sure that he'll slap me again. It's better for me to forget this issue here." Murmured Raj.

"You lazy son, what are you still doing in the car? Get your ass out here" Raj and Mathew heard Ravi's yell.

Ravi shook his head, stepping out of the car and asked Mathew "You're not coming uncle?"

"Nope. You can go ahead young master, i'll be waiting in the car" said Mathew.

Raj nodded and walked towards his father and 'wife'.

As joined them, Ravi said "This mansion is the present I've prepared for you two, go in and check it out. I'll be leaving now."

After that he pulled Raj and said "Give me grand child as soon as possible." And left with Mathew.
