2 MUTANT

The man as if separated from this world indulges himself in meditation. Meditation is essential for mutants, it helps the mutants to know themselves better and it increases one's strength.

Mutants were originally just imaginations or used in stories as fantasies, but during the year 2020, the planet Thrae experienced multiple meteoroids which resulted in radio active energies being released through out the world.

As the saying goes, "human potential can never be quantified, it's endless". Humans began mutating, we evolved into mutants. Human mutants are shortly called as HM, where as beasts are called BM. The BMs are generally the minority of animals which were able to evolve as well. The beasts evolution is still a question to humans, because the evolution was random, it didn't only occur in certain number of species or it didn't mean that once evolved species will have their whole species evolved. It was so random people are still researching about it, but they still haven't got a single clue.

Due to the mutation, people obtained strength that is never seen before. The strength of each mutant differs from each other, but there are still many people who have same powers and strengths. The HM and BM are classified as D,C,B,A,S,SS,SSS and SSS+. They are only a handful of SSS+ HM in the world. The classes are representation of how strong a mutant is in combat.

Nations which have SSS+ HM are regarded as super powers in the world, Aidni currently has two SSS+ HM. It is said that during years 2020-2022, there was a mutant who is said to be the strongest mutant of Aidni, but during the year 2022 during the first war between demons and humans, it is said that the mutant sacrificed himself to take down the demon king, after fighting for 7 days and 8 nights.

Hence on December 1 of every year, Aidni celebrate it as their new year. It is said on this day the mutant sacrificed himself to protect his nation and his people and the mutant never showed his face to anybody, he always used to wear a mask whenever he appears. But the most distinctive feature of him was his sword, every citizen of Aidni know his sword and his given name the "Slaughter God".

During the radio active exposure, the people who couldn't entirely evolve died and became demons, threatening the humans from the very beginning of their existence till date. Out of the total population of the world, it is recorded that 78% of humans failed their evolution and occupied the Northern part of the world as their habitat. But after the Slaughter God took down the demon king with him, the activities of the demons have reduced to minor conflicts.

Since after mutation, the cold weapons which were used before were not efficient and couldn't be used. This led to various changes in the weapons and defence systems as some mutants have the ability to fly.

From the year 2023, the world began implementing changes in their defences, army units, vehicles, weapons, etc.

In the current period, weapons are totally different than the weapons before mutation. The super powers in the world have signed a peace treaty and allied themselves to face the demons.

It is known that the biggest threat to humans are the demons, which lead to the unification of the world.

As the man was meditating, his NC flashed showing an incoming call, since the NC is set in silent it didn't disturb the man from his meditation.

After a hour or so, the man slowly opened his eyes. He looked at the sea calmly and stood up. He went back to the house, to freshen up and to take a bath.

After finishing his bath and putting on his clothes, he went to the kitchen to have his breakfast.

He looked at his NC, as he had the habit of surfing internet during breakfast. But today, to his surprise he saw a missed call from his father.

'What does the old man need?' he thought very annoyed.

But he still called back.

After the call got connected, a holographic image of a middle aged man with a dark brownish skin and a bald head can be seen.

"Come home for your birthday" a hoarse voice sounded from the holograph.

"Why?" asked the man in an annoyed tone.

"You'll know once you come, if not I don't mind coming to where you are, Raj!" the voice sounded threatening enough for the man named Raj to shut up and answer it with only a "hmmm okay" very weakly.

"Hahahahhha" a heartily laughter could be heard from the other side and the call was abruptly ended.
