17 Dead man walking!

Raj crossed the border and followed the demon.

With in the north, a old mansion could be seen. It gave off an eerie feeling, but what was more unnatural was that thousands of demons had gathered surrounding the mansion.

Inside the mansion, Arvind could be seen standing next to a demon. The demon looked quite different with a tall stature and was a bit skinny. It's eyes had yellow pupils, he had a sinister smile on it's face. The most noticeable thing was it adorned a crown on it's head. It was none other than the Demon King.

Arvind and Demon King were watching Raj in using a survey camera, they watched as Raj held off the attacks of the soldiers and crossed the border. Demon King said with a voice full of hate and a little bit of fear "just looking at him makes me mad and i get goose bumps whenever someone mentions him."

Arvind chuckled and said "Considering you are a demon, it's common for you feel that way, after all he is the Slaughter God and not the usual SSS+ HM, you can find. His strength even surpasses that level."

"I hope he's still as strong as before or even stronger, if not I'll be bored after waiting for all these years." Said the Demon King.

Arvind frowned and said "If what you said becomes true, then he'll be the one playing with us. Even though we have improved ourselves I've never seen him get serious even while fighting you in the past."

"Isn't that why we have prepared these two presents for him." Said the Demon King pointing towards two humans who have been tied up.

Arvind looked at them, smile and said "Well father, how do you like it here? It's pretty nice isn't it? And look at the wife of Raj, where did you find such a beauty for him?" he looked at the female and said "you shouldn't believe in Raj, he won't keep his words. Just like he ignored and let me to die, he'll let you down too. If you want you can come with me, I'm giving you a chance only for your beauty."

Ravi was extremely angry, he didn't know why his younger son had changed so much. He looked just like him, but his character is completely ruined, he said "don't have any expectations to escape from him, even if not for me he would definitely kill you two for bringing his wife. Arvind you too know how protective Raj is and you even kidnapped me and his wife? You better leave us and apologize to him, if not you'll definitely die."

Harshitha didn't even know what to say, she had learned that Raj was the Slaughter God. She was stunned, she didn't expect the lazy man was the most revered in all of Aidni. She remembered how she had treated him, she felt fear creeping in her heart. She also knew that her father and his father were yet to know about the divorce.

She watched him as he made his way into the northern border, she was getting anxious by the second. Only she knew that, he didn't come here for her if the situation escalates he wouldn't even mind sacrificing her for his father's safety.

Arvind was annoyed at his father's words and the silence from the women. He asked "If i keep your life in my hands, would Raj dare to attack me father? Would he dare attack his own brother?"

Ravi was silent but still nodded his head, and said "You still don't get it do you? Raj loves Harshitha more than he loved Varsha, do you think you can still escape from him now? He would kill you just for insulting her. The second you had plans for Harshitha you're a dead man walking."

Arvind was stunned, he started sweating he didn't expect this woman to have such a position in Raj's heart. From his memories, he knew very well how Raj treated Varsha in the past, if what his father said is true then he really is a dead man walking.

Raj was always over protective towards his loved ones, not only did they bring both his father and wife, he even insulted her and asked her to be his woman. It was also one of the reasons he hid his identity as the Slaughter God, so that the demons won't target his family.

Seeing Arvind being silent, the Demon King knit his brows too.

Ravi smiled and said "you better be ready when he gets here."

Ravi knew that Raj had accepted this marriage and seeing that the couple were together for more than 6 months, he thought Raj and Harshitha had acknowledged each other. If Raj had acknowledged Harshitha as his wife, knowing his personality he would kill them without hesitation.

Only Harshitha was feeling anxious, their relationship wasn't even as good as friends. He definitely wouldn't risk anything for her.

Arvind suddenly said to the Demon King "let them go, we can't beat him now. He'll kill us if anything happens to that women."

"Oh why would i kill you for her?" a casual yet powerful voice sounded behind them.

All of turned towards the door, Ravi was happy to see his son, Harshitha was anxious and scared, both Arvind and Demon King were stunned.
